Heather Locklear enjoyed a happy reunion with her former Melrose Place castmates Courtney Thorne-Smith, Daphne Zuniga, and Laura Leighton earlier this month.
The 63-year-old blonde bombshell had her beloved dog, Mister, in tow as she embraced her former co-stars before taping a two-part episode of their re-watch podcast, Still the Place.
Heather was brought on Darren Starr’s Beverly Hills, 90210 spin-off in order to boost ratings in a four-episode arc as D&D advertising executive Amanda Woodward, but she continued to play the role from 1993-1999 despite retaining her ‘special guest star’ credit.
Locklear had a clause in her contract to keep ‘everything, from shoes to the old jackets, the skirts’ from her costumes, which got continuously shorter and shorter.
‘Yeah I can almost feel my crack while I’m sitting down because it goes up!’ the six-time Golden Globe nominee joked.
Daphne then ribbed her, ‘So did they see your old granny underwear?’

Offended by the notion, Heather shot back: ‘I don’t wear granny underwear!’
Locklear noted how none of the cast wore pantyhose in those days, but she certainly wore ‘nylons’ while starring as Sammy Jo Carrington in ABC prime-time soap opera Dynasty between 1981-1989.
The Mormon Mom Gone Wrong actress – who reprised the antagonistic role in The CW’s 2009-2010 reboot – was asked by Courtney who she had the most fun with from the Melrose Place ensemble.
‘Well, stupid Jack [Wagner] cause he’s an a**hole,’ Heather laughed.
‘He just doesn’t care. He’s annoying. He’s like your brother.’
Locklear went on to date her 65-year-old former leading man from 2007-2011 during which they were briefly engaged.
‘I just wanted to be good,’ the SoCal native recalled of her time on the hit show.
‘And I just wanted to be good the next day and the next day.’
Heather confessed she was more concerned about learning her own lines for the 30-episode seasons than bonding with her co-stars on the set: ‘I guess there was no time to really form friendships.’
But Locklear, Zuniga, and Leighton will get another chance as CBS Studios has been developing a Melrose Place reboot executive produced by Lauren Gussis as far back as last April – according to EW.
