Stan is going all out with a star-studded lineup of original films, series and documentaries as it celebrates a decade of entertainment in 2025.
On Tuesday Stan revealed its latest high-profile project, The Entertainment System is Down, featuring an A-list cast led by Kirsten Dunst and Keanu Reeves.
The darkly satirical film is directed by two-time Palme d’Or-winning filmmaker Ruben Östlund and promises to take viewers on an unexpected ride.
Set on a long-haul flight from England to Australia, the passengers are thrown into chaos when the in-flight entertainment system suddenly fails, forcing them to confront their own boredom.
Joining the Hollywood heavyweights are Australian actors Daniel Webber (The Dirt), Wayne Blair (Top End Wedding), and Dan Wyllie (Love My Way), adding a local touch to the international production.
The Entertainment System is Down is a Sharmill and Stan Original Film and is expected to generate major buzz ahead of its release.

But that’s not the only blockbuster on the horizon.
Stan also unveiled a brand-new action-packed film Beast In Me featuring Oscar winner Russell Crowe.
Daniel MacPherson, Luke Hemsworth, nine-time world champion martial artist Bren Foster, and singer-songwriter Amy Shark will also appear in the series.
The film follows Patton James (MacPherson), a devoted family man and former mixed martial artist, who had vowed to leave his fighting career behind.
But when his brother suffers a severe injury and financial pressures mount, Patton is forced to return to the ring to train, setting up a thrilling redemption story.
In another major announcement, Stan revealed Love Divided by Eleven, a new original series starring Neighbours star Brooke Satchwell alongside Eleanor Matsuura (The Walking Dead), Ben Lawson (Firefly Lane), and Ryan Johnson (Doctor Doctor).
In a family-friendly offering, Stan also announced Whale Shark Jack, starring Abbie Cornish, Alyla Browne, and Rachel Ward.
Filmed in breathtaking Western Australia, the heartwarming adventure follows a young girl who sets off on a daring mission to save her best friend – a whale shark named Jack.
The film is set to capture the beauty of the natural world while telling a touching story of friendship and determination.
