Michelle Keegan Shines in Sparkly Partywear for Special Very Collection Launch, Celebrating Motherhood

Michelle Keegan has set pulses racing as she modelled pieces for the second iteration of her AW25 collaboration with Very, which she branded ‘the most special collection I’ve created so far’.

The actress, 38, flaunted her sensational figure in a dazzling photoshoot showing off several looks in the range, which takes inspiration from Parisian glamour.

She oozed elegance in a strapless black bandeau dress with a pleated satin skirt that retails for £80.

Michelle also flashed a glimpse of her chiselled midriff in a draped purple jumpsuit featuring semi-sheer panelling.

In the run-up to the festive season, the collection includes a range of festive partywear looks, with star dazzling in several sequin dresses.

She put on a leggy display in a black minidress encrusted in sparkling gems to resemble a firework, teamed with a trendy furry jacket.

While Michelle also showed off her impeccable casual style too, posing up a storm in a pair of flared denim jeans with fashion forward stud detailing.

The former Corrie star paired it with a chic purple pleated blouse with a coordinating neck scarf, retailing for £35.

As per usual with her Very pieces, Michelle kept true to her minimalist modern style, but also incorporated a sweet nod to motherhood, after welcoming her first child earlier this year.

The Fool Me Once star became a mother in March, with the arrival of baby daughter, Palma, with her husband Mark Wright.

And for the first time ever, her collection introduces adorable mini-me styles, allowing mum and their children cosy up together in matching PJ this Christmas.

The latest release includes 53 pieces in total and is exclusively available to shop online at Very’s website.

Speaking about the collection, Michelle said: ‘Inspired by the evenings of Paris, this collection is all about festive style with gorgeous detailing and finishes.

‘It’s also the most special collection I’ve created so far, combining partywear with my cosy at-home loungewear and adorable children’s PJ sets, it’s perfect for the festive season and all the special occasions.’

Since welcoming baby Palma, seven months, Michelle has been expertly juggling work commitments with motherhood, wrapping up filming for the last season of Brassic after seven years in May.

But she didn’t rest on her laurels for long, currently filming for an upcoming crime drama, The Blame, for ITV.

She will play DI Emma Crane in the six-part series, based on debut novel of the same name by Charlotte Langley.

She stars opposite Douglas Booth in the adaptation – written and produced by Megan Gallagher – which centres around the discovery of the body of a teenage figure skater, sending shockwaves through the town of Wakestead.

The official synopsis of the show reads: ‘The drama dives into secrets, suspicion and systemic corruption – all under the surface of this seemingly quiet town.

‘The series begins when the body of teenage figure skater Sophie Madsen is discovered, sending shockwaves through the town of Wakestead.

‘As DI Crane (Michelle) and DI Radley (Douglas) dig deeper, what starts as a tragic death, spirals into a tangled web of lies, institutional cover-ups, and moral compromise.

‘As the clock ticks and trust fractures, Crane must navigate both a murder investigation and the treacherous politics inside her own team.’

However, Michelle will not be returning to her other hit show Ten Pound Poms, after it was revealed earlier this month that the BBC show has been axed after two series.

The drama followed a group of British citizens who emigrated from post-war Britain to Australia in the 1950s, with Michelle playing nurse Kate Thorne.

It first hit screens in 2023 and drew in a respectable 6.37 million viewers for its first season, but ratings were halved to just 3.15 million by the end of series two, which concluded in April.

The second series also saw Michelle’s story end on a tense cliffhanger, with her character Kate determined to reclaim her son Michael from his adoptive parents.

A BBC spokesperson confirmed the cancellation to the Daily Mail, saying: ‘It’s been a joy to bring the story of the Ten Pound Poms to life for BBC viewers and we are really grateful to Danny Brocklehurst, Eleven and all the cast and crew who have worked on the series.’
