Married At First Sight UK star Luke Worley has baffled fans after seemingly proposing to a mystery woman in Dubai – who went on to reject him.
The TV personality, 32, appeared on the E4 reality show in 2023, where he married Jay Howard during the experiment.
The couple started out strong but then cracks soon appeared in their romance, before the pair were then kicked off the show following Luke’s bust-up with Jordan Gayle.
However, Luke appears to have had another crack of love as he seemingly popped the big question in his latest Instagram post, only for his romantic gesture to be turned down.
In the snap, taken in front of the Burj Khalifa, Luke is seen getting down on one knee in front of a mystery person, who is completely covered in red heart emojis.
Captioning his post, he wrote: ‘She said no’, alongside a laughing emoji.

The Essex lad’s caption had been edited as he had earlier shared his post on his Instagram stories, where he originally penned: ‘She said yes’.
With his use of the laughing emoji, Luke – who hasn’t been publicly linked to anyone recently – may well have been playing a joke on his fans.
And his fans it seemed may have been aware that Luke could potentially be pulling their leg as one responded: ‘Literally proposing to your shadow.’
A second shared: ‘It’s the imagination that counts’, while a third added: ‘No box, no ring, no person…’
However, one follower reckons Luke may be dropping a hint that he could be returning to Married At First Sight, writing: ‘I reckon his going back on MAFS’.
As Luke replied with a series of side eye emojis, the fan suggested he could appear on the Australian version of the show.
Back in August last year, Luke revealed that he had split from his girlfriend Hannah Lynch, just six months after going Instagram official.
During a Q&A on social media, a curious fan asked: ‘Are you still with somebody?’

One follower reckons Luke may be dropping a hint that he could be returning to Married At First Sight, writing: ‘I reckon his going back on MAFS’
Only for him to reply: ‘Nope, back to the drawing board.’
Making his situation very clear, he then added a screen shot of his Hinge dating profile.
He later went on to delete all traces of Hannah from his page.
After making an early exit from MAFS UK with Jay, the beauty revealedopened up on the reason behind their split.
She told The Sun: ‘When we left the experiment we went on holiday, everything was good and we were really strong but then things changed when we came home.
‘He went back to Essex and I came back to Accrington.
‘I felt like he changed and he couldn’t be bothered to put in the effort.’
