Radio star Carrie Bickmore shocked her co-host Tommy Little this week by revealing she was recently offered an exciting new gig.
The veteran presenter, 44, told her HIT FM colleague, 39, she was asked to DJ at the upcoming LIV golf tournament in Adelaide.
‘I got one of the most exciting calls I have had in a long time… I’ve told a few people and no one believes me,’ Carrie began.
‘I had a call to ask if I would DJ at the LIV Golf tournament. They heard I have started DJing and they want to get more women involved in the sport.
‘They thought I could pop down and do a set!’
Carrie has casually dabbled in DJing before, and said while she would have loved to accept the offer she would sadly have to decline.

Radio star Carrie Bickmore shocked her co-host Tommy Little this week by revealing she was recently offered an exciting new gig as a DJ
‘I can’t DJ there, I would humiliate you all!’ Carrie joked to tournament director Nick.
It comes after it was reported Carrie and her rumoured former lover Tommy Little made a ‘secret pact’ not to appear on celebrity shows together.
The radio co-hosts are said to have been approached numerous times to appear on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! as a pair, but turned down the offers.
The duo were reportedly ‘terrified’ they could lose their high-paying jobs by appearing in the jungle.
According to Yahoo! Lifestyle, they believed the amount of time away filming for the Channel Ten reality TV series could have jeopardised their lucrative radio careers.
Carrie and Tommy would reportedly wanted a much higher sum than was offered to appear on the show and they were said to have a made ‘pact’ against signing up.
A TV casting producer told the publication: ‘I would say that they are looking for more than a quarter of a million dollars each and to be honest they would be worth every penny. Everyone has a number that works for them.’
‘They have really cashed in on their chemistry – which is obvious on the weekly drive show,’ they added of their on-air success.

‘The whole, “are they dating or aren’t they?” has been a huge draw card for them both.’
Carrie and Tommy were repeatedly hit by romance rumours after they hosted their HIT FM radio show from Paris, France.
In October, the pair were spotted cuddling up for a photo behind-the-scenes at the ACRAs.
The co-hosts skipped the red carpet at the radio awards and snuck in through the kitchen together.
They stopped to pose for a picture in the bustling backroom, with Carrie turning heads in a very short black dress.
Carrie split from her partner of 11 years Chris Walker at the start of 2022, while Tommy has been reportedly single ever since his split from girlfriend Natalie Kyriacou in 2021.
Tommy rushed to Carrie’s side at the time that she confirmed her break-up, leading insiders to speculate their friendship could evolve into something more.
The radio co-hosts had a hugely successful 2024 with their drive-time radio show.
In August last year, Carrie and Tommy were once again named as the number one national drive show in Australia.
The Hit Network show nabbed an 11.1 per cent share in Australia, securing the top spot for the fourth time in a row.
