As the daughter of a chart-topping singer and an award-winning actress and film producer, this actress has been well accustomed to being in the public eye from a young age.
And on Tuesday this original nepo baby turned heads in the front row of the Lingua Franca show at New York Fashion Week, flaunting her trademark blonde fringe.
The English star cut a laid back figure at the glitzy event in The Bowery Hotel, wearing a figure-hugging baby blue short-sleeve cardigan and a cream woolly midi dress with ribbons.
She added a burgundy ribbon around her collar and a selection of silver rings on each hand as she mingled with some of the giants of the fashion world in The Big Apple.
The actress, 41, broke into the public consciousness thanks to her role as Sophie Levee opposite Greta Gerwig in Noah Baumbach’s 2012 comedy-drama Frances Ha, before playing singer Patti Smith in the biographical movie CBGB.
Her father had five number-one singles with his 1980s new wave band and won 17 Grammy Awards across his solo career and his stint with the group, while her mother has produced some of Britain’s most iconic movies.

It is none other than Mickey Sumner, star of American thriller series Snowpiercer.
She is the daughter of Sting, one of Britain’s most iconic musicians and the frontman of hitmaking group The Police.
The English musician, 73, has sold more than 100 million records since forming the band in 1977 before going on to have a glittering solo career.
Born Gordon Sumner, the bass-playing songwriter joined Stewart Copeland and Henry Padovani, who was soon replaced by Andy Sumners, to establish the hit group who claimed five number-one albums and five chart-topping songs in eight years.
With the band at the height of its powers – and arguably the biggest in the world – Sting left to pursue a solo career which led to two number-one projects and a host of additional honours.
He married his first wife, actress Frances Tomelty, with whom he had two children before separating after he had an affair with Trudie Styler in 1984.
Trudie, now 71, was Frances’s best friend and a fellow actress who starred in many British TV shows including The Mayor Of Casterbridge and The Scold’s Bridle.
She formed a production company in the 1990s which supported young talent including Guy Ritchie and Trudie went on to produce Guy’s classics Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch, as well as Michael Apted’s Moving The Mountain which won the 1994 International Independent Documentary Award.

The actress is most famous for starring opposite Greta Gerwig in the 2012 film Frances Ha
The pair married in 1992, eight years after they welcomed Mickey, who pursued her own acting career.
The London-born star made her first steps in the industry in 2006 with roles in several short films, before playing Francesca in the Showtime series The Borgias.
Appearances in Frances Ha and CBGB led to opportunities in a string of films in 2013 including Half the Perfect World, The Mend and Anesthesia.
Most recently, she starred as Bess Till in Snowpiercer between 2020 and 2024 and she is line to play Shelly Driscoll in the upcoming American series Task this year.
Mickey married Chris Kantrowitz in 2017 after a year’s engagement, with whom she has one son, but the pair separated five years later.
In an interview with The Times last month, Sting and Trudie joked about what went on behind closed doors in their marriage, decades after they famously claimed to bed each other for hours on end.
The singer shrugged: ‘It could be worse. And the seven hours includes dinner, a movie and five hours of begging.’
The star has been plagued by questions about his energetic love life since he once gave an interview in which he boasted about the tantric sex sessions.

He previously clarified his infamous admissions during an interview for Bravo series Inside The Actor’s Studio in 2014.
‘The idea of tantric sex is a spiritual act,’ he explained. ‘I don’t know any purer and better way of expressing a love for another individual than sharing that wonderful, I call it, “sacrament.” I would stand by it. Not seven hours, but the idea.’
He then quipped, ‘Seven hours includes movie and dinner,’ generating laughs from the audience.
In 2011, Trudie said her husband’s original claim about their love life was a drunken boast.
But while she poured scorn on the idea they were ‘doing it all day long’, she pointedly stopped short of saying he had lied about the yoga-related practice.
She said: ‘Sting said that 21 years ago. He has just turned 60, and I imagine [the tantric story] will carry on going until he drops.
‘Do you know who I blame for that? Bob Geldof. Him and Sting had gone to do an interview with a rock journalist, and the interview turned into a drinking session.
‘At one point, the journalist asked how long they could go for, and Geldof said he was a three-minute man, but, as Sting did yoga, he could probably go for hours. And Sting said “Well, haven’t you heard of tantric sex?”

‘So Sting explained that it is all about being intimate, about caring for your partner, really engaging in intimacy before you, you know… have sex. And that’s the premise of tantra, really.
‘It’s simply engagement with your partner.’
In January, Sting postponed two of his concerts and cancelled an upcoming appearance at an awards ceremony due to ill health.
The star pulled out of performing at the Bass Magazine Awards where he was set to be honoured with a lifetime achievement award.
The Police frontman also pushed back U.S. gigs in Phoenix, Arizona, and Wheatland, California, while he recovers.
A spokesperson for Sting confirmed in a social media post that fans should keep hold of their original tickets for when the date is rearranged.
Sting sent his apologies to those due to attend the concert and thanked them for being understanding in the unexpected circumstances.
