Laura Byrne has confessed that she doesn’t feel ready to stop having kids.
The Bachelor star, who gave birth to her third child with husband Matty ‘J’ Johnson in September, revealed on her Life Uncut podcast on Thursday that she wouldn’t mind having two more children and being a ‘trad wife’.
When asked by her co-host Brittany Hockley if she felt her family was complete since welcoming her daughter Poppy three weeks ago, the 39-year-old candidly admitted that she didn’t.
‘[I] really thought that after having Poppy, I would have this overwhelming sense of like our family is done now,’ she said.
However, she added that she doesn’t have that feeling – and doesn’t know if she ever will.
‘I think I am done because I think logistically, relationship wise, financially, like having kids is so expensive.’

She added: ‘I don’t think I’m ever going to have the feeling that a lot of women describe when they’re like, “I birthed this child, and I just knew my family was complete”.
‘I don’t think I will have those feelings ever. I think I will miss having a newborn. I think I will miss going through the stages,’ she confessed.
Laura went on to say that sometimes she wishes she could pause certain parts of her life so that she can dive fully into others.
‘It’s such a shame that you have to live life all at the one time. And what I mean by that is, as a woman, I know that my job is important to me.
‘And I wish that there was a situation in life where you could go, “Okay, I’m going to take 10 years to pause that thing and I’m going to do this thing and I’m going to give this thing everything I have.”
‘Because if I could just f**k off and be a trad wife for 10 years, and don’t get me wrong, I don’t mean like an actual trad wife, but… Being with my kids and have five kids and, you know, live on a farm and grow vegetables, I f***king would love that.’
‘Trad wife’ is short for traditional wife and refers to a woman who plays a traditional gender role, putting her focus into homemaking and family duties as opposed to climbing a career ladder.

The podcast host and her husband, 38, announced the news in a sweet Instagram post after previously revealing their newborn’s name was Poppy.
‘Third time really is a charm. Our sweet little Poppy girl is here and we are all utterly obsessed with every inch of you,’ the pair announced.
‘Poppy Pearl Johnson welcome to the world precious one.’
In April, Laura revealed the gender of her third child with Matty, confirming she was expecting another daughter.
She made the exciting announcement, cutting into a gender reveal cake live on her KIIS FM The Pick Up radio show, just hours after announcing her pregnancy.
‘It’s a girl,’ Laura squealed as she removed a slice of white sponge that contained layers of pink icing.
‘Am I capable of producing boys?’ replied husband Matty, before adding, ‘Let’s go again. Let’s go for a fourth.’
‘We’re so lucky to have three little girls – and three little sisters, it’s going to be amazing,’ added Laura, before Matty admitted he ‘loves being a girl dad’.
