Britney Spears showed off her messy living room as she danced around on Instagram to Daddy Lessons by Beyoncé.

Ever since she was liberated from her conservatorship, Britney, 41, has become notorious for posting wild-eyed dance videos to Instagram.

This weekend’s offering was no exception, with the pop act twirling around to Beyoncé’s lyrics about how ‘Daddy made me dance’ and ‘made a soldier out of me.’

Other lines of the song that were not featured in Britney’s video include: ‘Daddy liked his whiskey with his tea,’ and: ‘He told me not to cry.’

Her latest video comes after it was claimed that Britney’s own father Jamie – who has allegedly been struggling with alcoholism – will not be reading her upcoming memoir after his hotly controversial role in her conservatorship.

Britney recently promoted her autobiography in New York, where she mingled with her fellow hitmakers J Balvin and Maluma.

Posting about the rendezvous to her Instagram, she gamely confessed she had ‘no idea’ who the two men were when she first met them.

However, she evidently enjoyed their company, as she returned to her Instagram to post a since-deleted selfie with J Balvin.

Meanwhile, insiders have alleged that Jamie will be giving the book a miss, saying he is not concerned if he gets ‘trashed’ in Britney’s book because she’s already spoken out about him disparagingly on social media, TMZ claim.

It’s unclear what the Toxic singer has included in the book about the 13-year conservatorship overseen by her father.

This comes after DailyMail.com exclusively revealed that Jamie is now living with his other daughter Jamie Lynn Spears after another failed stint in rehab for alcoholism.

Jamie – whose lengthy battle with booze was first detailed by his ex-wife Lynne in her 2008 book Through the Storm – left rehab in July after completing a 30-day program, according to a Spears family insider, who claims that the father-of-three has since struggled to stay sober.

Jamie, 71, has since been living in a guest house at Jamie Lynn’s property in Hammond, Louisiana, with her husband Jamie Watson and their daughters Ivey, five, and Maddie, 15, the source shared – adding that his drinking has sparked serious concern among his family members.

Jamie took control of his oldest daughter’s life and finances in 2008 after some highly publicized mental health struggles. It began as a temporary arrangement, but became permanent by the end of the year.

In the years that followed, Britney, now 41, was deemed well enough to work in what the former estate conservator called a ‘hybrid business model’ in court papers, but not well enough to control her personal life.

The estate controlled who her friends were, where she could go and ‘logged her every purchase down to a drink from Starbucks,’ according to The New York Times.

Britney also told the court she had been forced to use birth control and take medication against her will.

During one court appearance, she told the judge, ‘Ma’am, my dad and anyone involved in this conservatorship, and my management, who played huge roles in punishing me when I said ‘No’ [to going on tour] — Ma’am, they should be in jail.’

Jamie’s parenting shortfalls and struggle with alcohol have also been documented in his youngest daughter Jamie Lynn’s 2021 memoir, Things I Should Have Said, and that of his ex-wife, Lynne.

Jamie was recently hospitalized for a bad bacterial infection, but had been moved to an infectious disease outpatient facility, according to People.

Britney’s older brother Bryan, 46, has reportedly been supporting the Stronger singer as he navigates her divorce from estranged husband Sam Asghari, 29.

‘He’s been staying over and helping her alongside a therapist,’ according to Page Six who reported speaking to a source.

The former couple met each other in 2016 after working on her Slumber Party music video and became engaged after the conservatorship ended.

Shortly afterward the pair revealed they were expecting a baby, but suffered a miscarriage.

The two tied the knot in a star-studded wedding ceremony at the hitmaker’s California home last June.

The pair remained together for just over a year before they separated, and the Lioness actor filed for divorce this past August.

The end of their marriage reportedly will not be covered in detail in her memoir.

While speaking about the tell-all, the actor told TMZ that he was not nervous and had already read it.

‘I’m very proud of her,’ the former model said of his estranged spouse. ‘She put a lot of work to it.’

The Woman In Me and its accompanying audiobook are set to be released on October 24.
