Mortensen’s hair transplant journey comes just weeks after it was revealed he and his SLMW co-star Taylor Frankie Paul hinted they were back together in a viral video.
Paul initially revealed they split back in September, but acknowledged the possibility they might get back together.
‘I would say we’re working on things, and I actually have no idea where it goes with us from here,’ she told Us Weekly, at the time.
She continued: ‘We are not fully together, but not fully done. I don’t know what the future holds with him and I.’
Last October, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives was officially renewed for a second season, with the whole original cast slated to return.
Since its premiere on Hulu on September 6, the show has proven to be a barnstorming success with viewers.
Its storyline revolves around #MomTok, a group of Mormon influencers who were plunged into a sex scandal when one of them revealed she was a swinger – and hinted some of the others may have been as well.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives has officially been renewed for a second season, with the whole original cast slated to return
Sparks flew between the members of the principal cast, which was made up of Paul, Jen Affleck, Demi Engemann, Whitney Leavitt, Mikayla Matthews, Mayci Neeley, Jessi Ngatikaura, and Layla Taylor.
But in spite of the vicious clashes between the women on season one, they have all signed on to come back for season two, as per TMZ.
Pre-production has been forging ahead in Utah and the cast are slated to begin filming the upcoming season within a week, it is claimed.
The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives was ranked the number one unscripted show on Hulu, with the streamer’s biggest premiere behind The Kardashians.
