The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star Bozoma Saint John has revealed she lost her Malibu home to the wildfires ravaging Los Angeles.
Beginning on Tuesday, the area was struck by its worst windstorms in over a decade, fueling fires that have destroyed thousands of structures and claimed at least five lives over the past three days.
About 130,000 people are under evacuation orders or warnings, as the authorities prepare to send out K-9 units trained to detect human remains in the wreckage.
One blaze in the Pacific Palisades has consumed a number of celebrity homes, including residences owned by Paris Hilton, Jeff Bridges, Anthony Hopkins, John Goodman, James Woods, Miles Teller, Tina Knowles and Anna Faris.
Now Saint John, who served as chief marketing officer at Netflix from 2020 to 2022, has announced that her residence was also devoured by the Pacific Palisades fire.
The executive-turned-reality star reportedly purchased the 2,501 square foot house for $5.2 million in 2021, according to Redfin and Traded.

‘This is the house I wanted. The house I prayed for. The house I worked in blood, sweat and tears for,’ she wrote in a heartbroken Instagram post Thursday.
‘The house that I put a key pad instead of a key hole in the front door because I wanted all my family and friends to have a code and use the house whenever they wanted,’ added Saint John, who has also held high positions at Uber and Endeavor.
She lived in the home with her 15-year-old daughter Lael, whom she raised with her late husband Peter Saint John until his death of cancer in 2015.
‘This is the house where I found peace after battling with racist neighbors and a community that made me have to buy it in a trust within a trust so no one would know that widowed, single Black woman with a teenager was buying on the exclusively-held beach,’ Saint John alleged. ‘This was my EFF YOU I’m here house.’
The businesswoman, whose sister Alua Arthur is a death doula, added that the Malibu property she lost in the fire was the ‘house that I built a movie room dedicated to my sister so she could see her films in her own sanctuary. This is the house where I finally felt like I could choose to spend time… when I wanted to and how I wanted to.
She concluded her message: ‘It is gone. This is an unimaginable loss. I grieve with the rest of Los Angeles as it burns… and even though I’ve found even words to write here, there’s nothing that I could say in this moment to describe this feeling. I ask for your prayer for Lael and I. God bless you.’
Her caption was accompanied by an album of the luxe property, including a touching photo of Saint John cuddling up to one of her daughters in the living room.
She also posted a harrowing picture of one of the fires ripping through a residential street, as well as footage of the smoke-filled, orange-tinted air over the ocean.

‘I’ve had devastating loss and grief in my life…,’ she wrote. ‘It never gets easier or more understandable. I still don’t know what to do, say, ask for, think… But prayer has always been a comfort. So please pray for Lael and I. God bless you.’
She has joined the ranks of an untold number of people who have lost homes to the wildfires still raging in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.
Among them are celebrities like Schitt’s Creek star Eugene Levy, who not only owned a property in the Pacific Palisades but is also the area’s Honorary Mayor.
Billy Crystal was left without the house he and his family had lived in since 1979, while Anna Faris’s $5 million eco-friendly residence was also razed.
Former New York First Lady Sandra Lee, talk show icon Ricki Lake, socialite Candy Spelling and reality stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag all had homes burn.
