Demi Moore celebrated her first Golden Globes win in serious style on Sunday night as she let her hair down on the dance floor with her family and celebrity friends.

The actress, 62, who accepted the gong for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy, partied well into the night as she celebrated her achievement.

It seemed nothing could slow her down as she showed off her dance moves and mingled with her A-list pals at an after-party following the ceremony.

A video posted to her Instagram page on Tuesday showed Demi moving and grooving among a group of her friends during the celebratory evening.

In a nod to the character who secured her win for The Substance, Demi wrote: ‘Elisabeth Sparkle if she respected the balance’.

Demi’s reference was to her character who pays to inject herself with a substance that splits her in two and creates a more youthful self – Sue – who lives her life on a week-on-week-off basis.

Ahead of the party, Demi switched out of her golden gown and into a pretty red dress with floral applique and a black belt which cinched her svelte waist.

Demi commemorated the occasion alongside her daughters Scout, 33, Rumer, 36, and Tallulah, 30, as they all posed for fun snaps with the Globe.

Several others got involved with the action as Demi also shared photos with actors Glen Powell and Naomi Watts and producers Jason Weinberg and Heather Parry.

During the ceremony, Demi delivered a moving speech as she accepted her first Golden Globe win for her critically-acclaimed performance in the body horror film.

She said: ‘Wow, I really wasn’t expecting that. I’m just in shock right now. I’ve been doing this a long time, like over 45 years, and this is the first time I’ve ever won anything as an actor,’ she told the audience.

‘I’m just so humbled and so grateful,’ she added before recalling how a producer had once described her as ‘popcorn actress’ earlier in her career, an entertainer who could make lucrative films but never earn substantial accolades.

Towards the end of her speech, the Ghost actress said, ‘I’ll just leave you with one thing: That I think what this movie is imparting is in those moments when we don’t think we’re smart enough or pretty enough or skinny enough or successful enough, or basically just not enough…

‘Just know that you will never “be enough,” but you can know the value of your worth if you just put down the measuring stick.’

Shortly after scooping up her award, Demi found herself at the centre of an online scandal as she was accused of snubbing Kylie Jenner.

In a now viral video, Demi sauntered over to Elle Fanning’s table for a quick chat, but seemingly didn’t notice Kylie, who was seated beside her trying to capture the A-lister’s attention.

Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com, a source stressed that there was no malicious intent, and that Demi didn’t actually notice Kylie. However, the insider did suggest the pair have ‘different values’.

‘Demi doesn’t know Kylie,’ the insider revealed, before adding that the pair have different values, and had not crossed paths before. ‘Demi raised her children in a much different manner than the Kardashians were raised, and they have different values.

‘Demi is an actress. Kylie was there because she is dating Timothée Chalamet. Demi respects Timothée and admires his talent. It was not a snub though. She simply didn’t even acknowledge her presence.’

Demi’s daughter Tallulah Willis also shut down rumours that her mom had snubbed Kylie, instead claiming that the actress simply hadn’t seen the beauty mogul.

In a statement posted on her Instagram Story, she said: ‘There was no snub of any sort.

‘Had she seen KJ wanting to congratulate her she would have given her the time and space. Literally just give it all a break and let a gal enjoy her accomplishments!’

She also went completely nude to reinvent the movie’s famous theatrical release poster.

Demi also seemed to be a fan of Kylie’s costume and even reshared the looks on her Instagram Story, alongside the captions ‘love this’ and ‘nailed it.’

On Monday, Moore’s daughter, Tallulah, took to Instagram to deny her mom snubbed Jenner.

‘NIPPING THIS STRAIGHT IN THE BUD — we spent new years with Elle, so connecting with her after a win was a very organic thing to do,’ the star said. ‘This angel was in total shock and delight and moving throughout a warm room of well wishers.’

She continued: ‘There was [no] snub of any sort, had she seen KJ wanting to congratulate her she would have fully given her the time and space. Literally just give it all a break and let a gal enjoy her accomplishments!’
