The Bachelor’s Maddy Carver has confirmed her engagement to a mystery man, after failing to find love with Locky Gilbert on The Bachelor in 2020.
The 30-year-old former reality TV star confirmed the exciting news in a social media post earlier this month.
Maddy shared a photo of the sunset beach proposal in which her partner got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife – and she accepted.
She captioned the picture with some heartfelt words: ‘To the one who showed me what true love is, every chapter of my life led me to you.
‘Now we begin our greatest one yet.’
The primary school teacher also shared a gallery of precious pictures which captured her spending time with her man – and a photo of her stunning diamond engagement ring.

‘Yay! Congratulations beautiful! This is the best news, so happy for you,’ gushed Maddy’s Bachelor co-star Irena Srbinovska.
‘I am so happy for you,’ another person added.
In 2020, Maddy was brutally rejected by The Bachelor star Locky Gilbert, who fell for her co-star Irena, who he married in 2023.
Later that year, Maddy revealed that since leaving the Channel 10 dating show, she had found her perfect man.
Appearing on HIT radio program Jimmy & Nath, she admitted she was no longer single.
‘I am seeing someone, I am loved-up now,’ she said.
‘We have known each other for about six years and we went on a date six years ago and we didn’t click at all. Then we caught back up and this time something just clicked and it feels right.’

The Bachelor couple wed in Melbourne, where they had an intimate ceremony surrounded by friends and family.
The couple shared the good news in a joint Instagram post showing the sweet moment Locky kissed his bride at the altar.

The happy couple, who met on the Channel 10 dating series, announced their engagement in June 2022.
