Kim Richards reportedly received a mental health evaluation from the police after they responded to an unusual call she made over the weekend.
The reality TV personality, 60, was reportedly visited by local authorities at a house owned by her sister, Kyle Richards, on Sunday afternoon.
The Los Angeles Police Department was responding to a call the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum had made about someone who had taken her cat but returned it.
Per TMZ, the police arrived on the scene and while explaining what happened, she reportedly got on a long-winded tangent about issues she had with her sister Kyle.
The police officers then called for a mental health evaluation team to evaluate her after seeing her behave in that manner, according to the outlet.
Insiders told TMZ that they determined Richards did not meet the criteria for an involuntary hold as they felt she did not pose a threat to herself nor others.

At the time of the incident, it appeared that Kyle was in Aspen, Colorado with her ex, Mauricio Umansky, and their children on a family trip for the holidays.
Paramedics were also reportedly dispatched but quickly left as they determined Richards nor anybody else required medical transport to a hospital.
Regarding her complaint about what happened to her cat, the police reportedly did not take any other action and left.
This comes several months after Richards was placed on a psychiatric hold after local authorities were called in response to an incident at the Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.
In September, the LAPD responded to a call about Richards being incoherent on the scene and refusing to leave when asked.
She was then detained on an involuntary 5150 hold, a 72- hour psychiatric hospitalization amid a mental health crisis.
Her half-sister Kathy Hilton shared a message of support after Richards had been placed on the psychiatric hold.
Later that same month, there was another incident at a home owned by Kyle again.
It was reported that Richards was involved in an altercation with her sister Kyle in Encino, where Kyle ‘owns a home that Kim had recently been staying in.’

Per TMZ, law enforcement sources said that Kyle claimed Kim was ‘in deep trouble over her sobriety’ and that their entire family was ‘worried about her survival.’
Concerned neighbors called the local authorities about Richards at the home.
Both the neighbors as well as Kyle reportedly wanted Richards to be removed from the house.
It was reported at the time that the rest of Richards’ family had cut off contact with her following her ‘relapse’ as they reportedly hope to drive her back to sobriety.
Her struggle with sobriety was previously documented during her time on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
In the first season of the reality show, which aired in 2010, Kyle accused her sister of being an alcoholic during a tense exchange.
The following year, she entered rehab.
In April 2015, Richards was arrested for public intoxication at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

That same year, she checked herself into a treatment facility in Malibu.
The following year, Richards revealed her addiction issues began after her split from her second husband Gregg Davis in 1991.
‘I started noticing I was drinking a lot. That’s when my issue started,’ she recalled.
Back in December 2016, she was celebrating five years of sobriety.
