Superman fans got their first look at new star David Corenswet in his character’s iconic blue suit earlier this week.
And now fans have been treated to a first look at Rachel Brosnahan, who costars with him in the upcoming film Superman as his love interest Lois Lane.
The 34-year-old Marvelous Mrs. Maisel star appeared briefly in a short mini-teaser released Wednesday on YouTube and social media, ahead of the official teaser trailer, which drops on Thursday, December 19.
It also features costars Skyler Gisondo, Beck Bennet and Mikaela Hoover, and includes a brief glimpse of Corenswet zooming through the sky.
The new film, which is directed by Guardians Of The Galaxy filmmaker James Gunn, will hit theaters on July 11, 2025.
The teaser to the teaser opens with a shot of The Daily Planet, the newspaper where Lois works, along with Superman’s alter ego.

Brosnahan was seen watching a TV at the Daily Planet newsroom in shock. She was joined by new stars Skyler Gisondo, Beck Bennett and Mikaela Hoover
Brosnahan is seen front and center with her coworkers in the newsroom as they stand up with shocked expressions.
She seems to lead the pack as she slowly steps forward while looking up at what’s likely a television set.
The brunette beauty, who is dressed in all black in the clip, is followed by Gisondo, who appears the photojournalist Jimmy Olsen.
Standing behind the Righteous Gemstones actor is former Saturday Night Live star Beck Bennett, who sports a thick walrus mustache and slicked-back hair.
The clip also reveals Mikaela Hoover, who appears in the superhero film as Cat Grant.
The actress, who is normally a brunette, wears striking platinum hair and wears a busty burnt-orange bodycon dress and large eyeglasses.
The shot of the film’s primary cast is brief, and after a card for Gunn, most of the rest of the 30-second pre-teaser features dramatic shots of people looking up in the sky in shock, presumably as Superman flies overhead.
Crowds are seen stumbling around on city streets and courtyards with their mouths dropping open as the point up at the flying marvel.
Brosnahan is seen front and center in an all-black ensemble. Gisondo (R) plays photojournalist Jimmy Olsen, while Bennett (rear center) is sports journalist Steve Lombard and Hoover (L) appears as Cat Grant

Then there’s a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it shot of Corenswet from behind in his Superman suit.
His red cape fluttered behind him and he appeared to be flying near snowy mountains or a glacier and zooming between two peaks.
The final image was of Superman far in the distance as he shot straight upward through the clouds and toward the sun in a dramatic display.
Corenswet was previously seen in his full Superman suit in an advance poster image released Monday, which included the tagline: ‘Look up.’
He joins a long line of actors who have played the Man of Steel on the big screen, dating back to a 1948 film serial starring Kirk Alyn.
George Reeves starred in the first Superman feature film in 1951, but Christopher Reeve played the first true big-screen/major studio Man of Steel in 1978’s Superman.
He went on to reprise the role in Superman II, Superman III and Superman IV: The Quest for Peace, before parting ways with the franchise.

Christopher Reeve (pictured) was one of the most famous Superman stars thanks to four blockbuster films, but Brandon Routh, Henry Cavill, George Reeves and Kirk Alyn have also played the character on screen
Reeve’s life was turned upside down in 1995 when he was paralyzed from the neck down following an equestrian accident.
The Remains Of The Day actor slipped into a coma in October 2004 and died less than a day later at just 52 years old.
Since then, Brandon Routh has played Superman in 2006’s Superman Returns and Henry Cavill took up the mantle in 2013’s Man Of Steel, 2016’s Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice and 2017’s Justice League.
Unlike most Superman films, the upcoming Superman will eschew the traditional ‘origin story’ and instead focus on the character in his mid-20s.
The film will kick off Gunn and DC Studios co-chairman Peter Safran’s new franchise, followed by Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, which is set for release on June 26, 2026.
