Alan Halsall has undergone an incredible body transformation in recent years, and will no doubt be showcasing his buff physique when he will be forced to shower in the infamous lagoon after entering the I’m A Celeb jungle.
The Coronation Street actor, 42, began to display a trimmer appearance after embarking on a healthier lifestyle amid his 2018 divorce from former Corrie co-star Lucy-Jo Hudson, who played Katy Harris.
Alan, who shares daughter Sienna-Rae, 11, with his ex-wife, has revealed that he embarked on a healthier lifestyle with strict diet and gruelling workouts.
In 2019 the soap star, who plays Tyronne Dobbs in the ITV show, told The Sun that he goes to the gym at least three times a week, and undertakes 2.5k on the treadmill, bike, rowing machine and cross trainer.
He told the publication at the time: ‘I’ve transformed a little bit myself and people have seen that’.

‘I like to come [to the gym). I have a pre-workout meal, I work out, then I have a post-workout meal or a swim and a steam’.
He often shares snaps of his gym sessions to Instagram alongside co-star Colson Smith, 26, who has himself lost a staggering 10st.
Alan revealed he was burning thousands of calories a day during his gruelling gym sessions and in a 2019 social media post as he worked out for nearly three hours and burned 2144 calories.
The following day he smashed a further two workouts in the morning alone. In the first he spent close to two and a half hours exercising – expending 1610 calories.
He then trained for another 49 mins and worked off 477 more calories, writing: ‘4321 calories in 24hrs. Room for a beer now.’ The average daily intake for a man is 2,500 calories’.
Alan is also a fan of hot yoga, which is a type of yoga that’s practiced in a heated studio and is said to help release toxins through sweat and can assist in weight loss.
The actor even bonded over the practise with his then girlfriend and co-star Tisha Merry, who played Steph Britton.
Alan previously told OK!: ‘I’d really got into hot yoga and someone mentioned that Tisha was going to the same studio so I thought we could go together.’

In a 2021 interview the actor who portrays policeman Craig Tinker in the ITV soap, opened up about his food struggles, confessing he would ‘self-harm’ with food.(pictured right in 2018, left in 2020)
The couple started dating in 2019 when Tisha left her role on the soap, before eventually splitting earlier this year after reportledy drifting apart.
Lucy-Jo split from Alan in May 2018, after nearly nine years of marriage; it was revealed that she’d embarked on a relationship with Lewis Devine just two months later.
However, she didn’t go public with her romance until October of that year, taking to Instagram to share a gushing post dedicated to her boyfriend, with whom she shared the stage in Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs pantomime in 2017.
In 2020 Alan seemingly lashed out at his ex-wife’s beau after he referred to the former couple’s daughter Sienna-Rae as his own.

The actor appeared to make a remark in response to Lewis’ gushing post following the birth of his and Lucy-Jo’s son Carter.
Amid his excitement at becoming a new dad, Lewis heaped praise on Lucy-Jo and Alan’s six-year-old girl Sienna, with part of his statement reading: ‘Our Sienna is delighted and is already making the best big sister, just like I knew she would!’
In a now-deleted Instagram post viewed by The Sun, Alan didn’t appear to take too kindly to Lewis’ use of the word ‘our’ and seemed to hit back at his ex’s new beau.
He wrote: ‘You’re welcome to keep the lying cheating one & call her your own! But not my daughter.’
MailOnline contacted representatives of Alan and Lucy for comment at the time.
