Frankie Bridge has admitted that she squandered the fortune from her early pop star days after finding fame at the age of 12 with S Club Juniors.
The singer and Loose WomenĀ panellist,Ā 36, shot to fame as a teenager before then joining The SaturdaysĀ and having huge success.
However speaking on Spencer Matthews’ Big Fish podcast she said of the money made from her early work as a teen:Ā ‘I don’t have anything to show for it anymore, I think that’s one of my biggest regrets.’Ā
She explained: ‘I think my parents always felt that they allowed me to work from such a young age that they were unable to tell me what to use my money for and what to spend it on.Ā
‘We didn’t have loads and loads.’
Frankie described being in control of her credit and debit cards from a young age too.

She said: ‘I was in control of it to a certain extent. I remember I had my own bank card. I think I only just closed it down like last week.’
As part of the S Club Juniors she was given some financial advice, saying:Ā ‘They helped me to invest little bits. But at the time I had no mortgage, no bills, no nothing, I wasn’t really thinking about it.Ā
‘But when I look back it wasn’t as much money as I thought it was. It would have been nice to has some of it left.’
She was part of the band with Rochelle Humes who she would later go on to star in The Saturdays with.Ā
Frankie’s podcast chat comes after she revealed she wasĀ locked out of her Paris Airbnb for seven hours in the middle of the night last week.Ā
The former Saturdays star took the train to the French capital on Wednesday to attend theĀ Radica Studio show at Paris Fashion Week.Ā
She was joined by pals and Faves colleagues for the show, and the group of women had booked an Airbnb to stay in for the trip.Ā
However, on returning from the show, and a night of dinner and cocktails, Frankie and her pals found the lock on their apartment wouldn’t work – and seven hours later, the group had still not gained access.Ā

Taking to her Instagram Story, Frankie shared a snap of herself and one of her pals sitting on the floor outside the apartment as she blasted Airbnb and the host for not being ‘helpful’.
‘When the lock on your @airbnb won’t work. So you’re now 4 girls stuck outside your apartment,’ she wrote.Ā
‘Everything’s stuck inside, the host and Airbnb are anything but helpful. 3 hours and counting…’
She shared a screenshot of the Airbnb host’s response, which read: ‘If you have already accessed the apartment, we have never encountered any problems.
‘Just turn the key in the right direction, hold it turned, and push the door at the same time.’
Referencing the response, Frankie wrote: ‘Helpful… Why didn’t we think of this?!’Ā
Hours later, at around 4am, Frankie shared another update as she wrote: ‘Still not in… 7 hours.’Ā
