Christine McGuinness revealed the one thing that put her off dating when she became single after her split from Paddy as she attended the Pride of Britain Awards on Monday night.
The model, 36, dazzled on the red carpet in strapless silver gown at the event held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline at the event Christine spoke about dating and revealed the one thing that made her hesitant to start again was that no one she knew ever had any good stories about it.
She split from her husband Paddy, 50, in 2022, and admitted she will ‘never marry again’ after going through a divorce, even though it was amicable.
On dating after her autism diagnosis she said: ‘I only started dating this year after I delayed it for a long time because of the worries.

‘It was scary hearing other people’s stories as I haven’t heard many good dating stories so I wasn’t in any rush to do it.’
She recently revealed however that she’s been ‘dating a mystery partner since June’.
On the red carpet she also discussed co-parenting with Paddy, saying: ‘Co-parenting is good, we’re both just really busy so we both just try and go in and out whenever we can.
‘There are times when we are at home together and times when it is just me and times when it is just him. It is kind of how it’s always been!’
They share children, twins Leo and Penelope, 10, and eight-year-old Felicity.
In September, opening up about moving on from her ex-husband Christine revealed the moment she met her special new person and said she’s the ‘calmest she’s ever been.’
She began: ‘I met them on my birthday through mutual friends and we’ve been dating since June.
‘It’s someone I know. I wasn’t thinking anything at the time but we kept in touch and it’s so nice and laidback.’
The TV personality added: ‘There are no labels and that’s what’s been amazing. Paddy hasn’t met them. It’s still new and early days.

She looked incredible at the event where she posed up a storm
‘After having a relationship in the public eye for so long I’m not sure I want the relationship to be public. I’ve only ever known what it was like to have a relationship that’s in the public. This is nice.
‘I’ve been really open and honest from the beginning about where I’m at and they’re ok with that.
‘I feel like I’m in good company. I don’t get a lot of time to myself but when I do it’s lovely and we laugh loads.’
Earlier that week, the model posted a series of pictures, including two of her looking cosy with fellow model and musician pal, DJ Roxxxan, 33, which came after they enjoyed a holiday together in Spain.
Speaking about being single again, Christine said: ‘I’ve managed to avoid dating for a lifetime. I’ve not done any of the Apps. I didn’t date even when I was a teenager. Every romantic relationship has always been someone I’ve known.
‘I had to get really happy and OK with me first. I love that I’ve learnt to love myself first because no matter what it’s going to be an experience.
‘Whether it goes good or bad, I always know that I’m fine on my own.’
The annual Pride Of Britain Awards is returning for its 25th year, with Ashley Banjo and Carol Vorderman set to return as co-hosts.
Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks are on hand to host the red carpet, while GK Barry will be presenting online content at her very own bar during the event.
The former couple are seen in 2019
Taking place since 1999, the ceremony honours the achievements of truly remarkable people from across the UK and all walks of life – nominated by members of the public.
After a shortlist has been produced from the thousands of entries, winners are chosen by the Pride of Britain judging panel.
Ahead of the ceremony, The King and the Prime Minister Keir Starmer led tributes to the nation’s unsung heroes.
The King called them ‘the very best’ of us, while Sir Keir said, ‘They embody everything that is great about Britain’.
