Guy Sebastian was caught in an awkward moment on an episode of The Assembly on ABC when he was asked to talk about his sex life.
The Australian singer, 43, has been open in the past about waiting until marriage to have sex with his wife Jules.
But he was left red-faced when a journalism student, under the tutelage of Leigh Sales, confessed he was a 27-year-old virgin and wanted some advice.
‘You’ve spoken publicly about waiting until marriage to have sex,’ the student began his question.
‘I’m 27 and still a virgin and I don’t even have waiting until marriage to blame, I’m just single. So, if I can ask, did you feel any performance anxiety?
‘And how did you come to peace with your own sex timeline?’

Guy appeared taken aback by the question but played it off with a chuckle as he answered.
‘Jules and I both grew up in the same church and we were both on that same page. It’s hard. It wasn’t easy. It was really difficult,’ he said.
‘But you’re right—there’s always heaps of pressure and I was made to feel really weird about that.’
‘Look, I’ll be honest, I would like to have sex at some point,’ the student joked.
‘There are services out there if I just wanted to get it over and done with. I want it to mean something at this point.’
Guy then responded with some shocking, if humorous, advice: ‘Don’t put too much pressure on the first time as well… It will probably be over quicker than you know it.
‘So, don’t put too much pressure on yourself. It may happen really quickly. Is that okay to say?’ he chuckled as the room erupted into laughter.
The Assembly sees celebrities be interviewed by a group of people who are autistic, neurodivergent and/or learning disabled, while under the guidance of Leigh Sales.

Guy and his wife Jules, 44, have long been open about how they waited until marriage to have sex because of their Christian faith.
The former Australian Idol star, who was 26 when he lost his virginity to Jules, has previously said it was a ‘massive punish’ to wait so long to sleep with the stylist.
Meanwhile, Jules once revealed on The Kyle and Jackie O Show that sleeping with Guy for the first time on their wedding night ‘was the best night of my life’.
Guy has also been open about his passionate marriage and even dedicated a song to lovemaking called Died and Gone to Heaven on his 2012 album, Armageddon.
