Megan McKenna received praise on Wednesday, after she proudly showed off her post-partum figure and got candid about how her body was recovering a week after giving birth to her son.
The former TOWIE star, 32, took to her Instagram a week ago to share the exciting news that she welcomed a baby boy named Landon Henry with her footballer fiancé Oliver Burke, 27, last Monday.
And she has continued to keep her followers updated as she navigates motherhood, sharing adorable snaps of her little one and insights into his progress with breastfeeding and sleeping.
Taking to her Instagram Stories just over a week after giving birth, Megan shared a mirror selfie cradling Landon, posing topless in a pair of grey shorts.
Turning to the side to show off her swollen tummy, she proudly showed off the realities of postpartum life, quipping that she looked ‘six months pregnant’.

She explained that her C-section scar and the swelling of her feet were improving, but admitted she was still ‘so tender’ and reliant on medication.
Captioning the unedited snap, the new mother wrote: ‘Just over 1 week postpartum. Still seriously swollen from the c section & look 6 months pregnant.
‘My scar is healing nicely though and the swelling of my feet have gone down. Easier to sit up and down now but still so tender.
‘Let’s put it this way, if I’m not on the meds it’s not fun. Back to the sofa for me in my throw away nappy.’
It comes after Megan gushed that she has had ‘the best week of her life’ as she shared heartwarming new photos of her son on Sunday.
She shared a snap of her cradling her newborn in hospital with Oliver by her side, after her C-section and another breastfeeding him for the first time.
Other sweet photos showed Landon wrapped up in a white baby grow while peacefully sleeping, but showing off her sense of humour, Megan also included a shot of her swollen ankles.
In the accompanying caption, she joked: ‘The best week of my life. Ps rip my ankles’.

Megan welcomed Landon via C-section as she shared raw videos when she gave birth in Germany, and in the post announcing his birth, she wrote that he had been born at 8.33am on October 7.
Her famous friends flooded the comments with messages congratulating the couple on their new arrival.
The singer’s sister Milly wrote: ‘Oh our beautiful baby Landon❤️ he is so loved already. I can’t wait to do auntie duties all over again, love you all so so much can’t wait to give him the biggest cuddles ❤️’
Her former TOWIE co-star Georgia Kousoulou wrote: Awwwwwww, congratulations’ while Natayla Wright commented: ‘Congratulations Megan’.
Only last month, Megan left the UK and moved to Germany to be with her footballer fiancé Olly, making the decision to give birth over there.
The Scotsman plays as a right winger or forward for the German football team, Bundesliga club Werder Bremen.
In a previous Instagram video, Megan announced: ‘Guess what! I’m moving to Germany. I know I did some stories yesterday about packing.
‘And I think I few of you thought I was going into labour but no lets hope I don’t go into labour because I am now giving birth in Germany.

‘I know a few of you guys have been like ‘Where’s Olly?’ Olly is in Germany and all our stuff has been in storage for a couple of months.
‘A bit crazy that I’m moving countries. I’m actually excited, like it’s obviously going to be a big change.’
Megan revealed that they had to ‘move hospitals very last minute’ and it was ‘crazy’ and ‘all a bit of a rush’.
The original plan was for Olly to fly back in time for her due date. However, Megan was worried that her partner would miss the birth of their baby.
