Power couple Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are the top choice.
Women will don Swift’s Eras Tour outfits like her silver leotard or burgundy dress while men will opt for Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs jersey, the HCA suggested.
There may also be fans that copy the look the stars wore when they got engaged in August.
Another celebrity power couple that fans may want to copy is Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet who have been together for almost three years.
A specific look they could borrow is from the Golden Globe Awards in January or when they went to a basketball game for the NBA Playoffs that same month.

‘This data shows that Halloween is a holiday that brings out the creativity and community spirit of adults, not just children,’ said Michele Boylstein, HCA’s Executive Director.
‘From dressing up and decorating to attending parties and celebrating with pets, adults are embracing every aspect of Halloween. The steady increase in participation since 2020 shows that Halloween is stronger than ever.’
Then there are the main characters from the movie Wicked; Ariana Grande’s character Glinda wore a sparkling pink dresses and Cynthia Erivo’s character Elphaba had green skin with a black dress and hat.
Dressing as Superman is also back after being popular when the Christopher Reeve movie came out in 1978. That’s because a new version came out in July starring David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan.
Costumes from the movie Beetlejuice is also trending. Inside Out 2 emotions are hot too: Characters like Ennui and Anxiety are being turned into costumes for both kids and adults.

The Halloween & Costume Association (HCA) also shared that 51% of adults who celebrate Halloween plan to dress in costume this year, with 32% dressing their pets in costume. 46% of adults Halloween costume wearers plan to throw or attend a Halloween party, while 54% plan to decorate their homes or yards.
Halloween shopping starts early: 45% of these adults who dress up begin purchasing costumes in September, and 36% shop during the first two weeks of October.
Adults plan to spend an average of $60 on costumes, $55 on decorations, and $40 on candy.

Specialty Halloween/costume stores remain popular, with 46% of these adults planning to shop there, while 40% shop online.
Since 2020, the percentage of adults celebrating Halloween has increased steadily, showing a resurgence and growing popularity post-COVID. Millennials (39.5%) and Gen Z (26.7%) are most likely to dress in costumes. Adults in households with children under 18 show high engagement, with over 36% planning to take children trick-or-treating.

But affordability is slipping fast. Costumes that used to retail for $19.99 will jump to $39.99. Even simple masks, once priced at $4.99, could now cost $9.99, or more. At double the price, many simply won’t buy.
‘This is an existential moment for our industry,’ said Robert Berman, Halloween & Costume Association Board Member and President of Rasta Impasta/Imposta Costumes, a leading U.S. costume manufacturer. ‘Halloween isn’t like other holidays. If products don’t land on time or become too expensive for families, Halloween simply doesn’t happen. There is no backup plan.’
The latest round of tariff hikes, which could increase rates up to 145% or even 170%, is hitting seasonal suppliers at the worst possible time. With millions of dollars already spent on raw materials and production, many companies are now facing sudden, unexpected costs that make their ranges unviable.
