Karren Brady’s daughter Sophia Peschisolido has revealed she had an emergency C-section as she opened up about her difficult birth in an Instagram post on Thursday.
The influencer, 28, welcomed her second child, a son named George, last week with her fiancé Frankie Makin.
Sophia, who is also mum to son Leo, 19 months, admitted although she is recovering quickly, she has struggled with not being able to pick her children up.
She explained: ‘I feel like this age gap is not as hard as everyone makes out! I think the transition for me was only hard for me because I had never spent a night away from Leo.
‘And having an emergency c section I couldn’t hold him or pick him up and he’s my first baby and he didn’t really understand why his mama couldn’t hold him and that made me sad.
‘But he’s adapted really quickly and he loves George so much so it’s honestly been fine so far but George is only a week old so who knows how it’s going to look further on down the line.

‘I just like it because they will grow up so close in age they can play together and learn together and Leo is such a good big brother already so I’m excited for whatever the future holds!!
‘I think there’s never a right time you just gotta go for it and hope for the best.’
In another post, Sophia admitted she is recovering quickly following her difficult birth.
She revealed: ‘Birth was not fun but I’ve been recovering pretty quickly which I’m v [very] grateful for.’
Sharing a candid shot of her family on her birth announcement post, she penned: ‘Family of 4 complete’ as the newborn slept peacefully in a sweet stripy hat.
Karren previously spoke about being a grandmother on The Apprentice You’re Hired earlier this year.
She said: ‘He is the most beautiful little boy in the world and my daughter is a natural mother.
‘Mother and baby are doing so well and I am so proud of her and her family and her husband and everyone is really well so it is great.’

Frankie also took to Instagram with a snap of Sophia heading into the hospital with her pillow before giving birth

Sophia also shared a close-up snap of her newborn baby boy – whose name has not been disclosed – resting on her chest shorty after birth.
In a third snap, her fiancé Frankie was seen taking their baby boy home as he strolled along the hospital corridors with his son in a pram exiting the hospital.
‘Our son, never known a love like this 28/03/24,’ read an accompanying caption.
Sophia and Frankie confirmed their engagement in 2022 and shared a gallery of images of the romantic proposal on a beach in Mykonos, Greece.
