Indie Bostock Roasted for Dally M Awards Midriff Cut-Out Dress

NRLW footy star Indie Bostock has been roasted for her choice of attire for the 2025 Dally M Awards in Sydney on Wednesday night.

The blonde beauty, who plays for the Dragons, was certainly keen to make an impression when she stepped out on Wednesday night with her Dolphins star partner Tevita Naufahu.

Indie was not afraid to flash the flesh in a dark brown gown that featured a unique cut-out at the midriff.

Indie’s unusual fashion choice also boasted a sheer skirt that showed off her toned pins.

Finishing at her feet, she also wore a pair of black strappy heels to complete the quirky ensemble.

She left her flaxen locks to fall freely over her exposed shoulders and back for the occasion.

Indie accessorised with silver and gold bracelets on her wrists and a pair of gold earrings.

She appeared to be having some trouble with her risqué attire, spotted at one point adjusting her dress to prevent an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction.

Tevita, meanwhile, preferred to let his partner’s outfit do the talking, stepping out in a classic black tuxedo.

While Indie looked chuffed to be stepping out with her beau in such eye-catching garb, it was a different story on social media.

A clip of the couple arriving at the event, which was held at the Winx Room at Randwick Racecourse, generated quite a bit of chatter – and not all of it positive.

The clip, shared by the official pages of the NRL and NRLW, was captioned with a simple: ‘@indiebostockkkk looking glamorous,’ and a love heart emoji.

However, some fans disagreed, taking to the comments to slam Indie’s awards attire.

‘What part of this is glamorous?’ one fan asked.

Others suggested that Indie’s garb may be better suited to a nightclub than on the ‘green carpet’ at the Dally Ms.

‘Sis hitting the clurb straight after in this very outfit,’ one fan suggested, while another chimed in with a similar: ‘idk it’s giving clubs,’ with a crying face emoji.

Another was less charitable in their assessment, slamming Indie’s getup as decidedly unglamorous.

‘Get a bit tired of the word “glamorous:” when they look ridiculous,’ the commenter wrote.

It wasn’t all criticism, though, with many fans jumping in to praise Indie’s unique fashion choice.

‘Just dropped to my knees in Woolies,’ one wrote.

Another jumped in with an equally gushing: ‘Just divine,’ while a third summed up the sentiment of many with a simple: ‘So gorgeous.’

Others were quick to leap to Tevita’s defence, pointing out that his sartorial splendour was not mentioned in the post caption.

‘NRL totally oblivious one of their own NRL players is with Indie Bostock lol,’ one joked.
