Olivia Attwood: Separate Bank Account from Husband Bradley Dack is ‘Modern Thinking’

Olivia Attwood has insisted on having a separate bank account from her husband, Bradley Dack.

The reality star and footballer, who dated on and off before her Love Island stint, before eventually reuniting in 2018, tied the knot two years ago.

Since appearing on the reality ITV show, Oliva, 34, has become one of the hottest properties on British TV, with a net worth estimated at around £6M.

While Bradley, 31, who is currently with level two club Gillingham FC on a free transfer, is estimated to have a net worth of around £5.1M.

Speaking in a new interview, the star revealed that she and Bradley have separate bank accounts and that spending ‘should be mutual in a relationship’.

She told OK magazine: ‘I think it’s really important to keep your own finances and your own bank account, and I don’t think you need to combine finances with your partner at all.

‘I think it’s a really outdated way of thinking.’

It comes after Olivia hinted she’s had offers’ from US bosses after her shows found global success on streaming giant Disney+.

Speaking to Daily Mail, the presenter said she has ‘had offers’ from bosses across the pond, and hopes that with the help of her new international fanbase, she could take her career global.

Olivia is currently the face of surgery-based series The Price Of Perfection and dating show Bad Boyfriends, and last week she jetted to Las Vegas to film series four of Getting Filthy Rich.

The star, who has joined forces with Nationwide to promote their FlexStudent account, admitted that even before her shows were launched on Disney+, she had already had plenty of international fans thanks to her stint on Love Island.

She said: ‘Love Island is huge in America, the UK one so I feel really lucky there was already quite a large US audience on my Instagram, they are definitely happy to have the shows available, also in Australia as well.

‘I’m very happy with my career as it is right now. I mean I’ve had offers, I’m not looking to jump ship right now, but yes, at some point I’m sure we’ll do something over there.’

Already branded one of the most sought-after presenters on TV, Olivia admitted she thrives in the chaos that comes with her globe-trotting schedule, despite the large amount of time she spends away from home.

She added: ‘I’ve lived this way my whole adult life, in one way or another. Before when I was on Love Island, when I was modelling, when I was a grid girl, I used to go to two countries a week.

‘So I feel like I’ve never really been someone who is good at staying still. I definitely thrive in chaos and busyness, it just suits me. I like to keep the hustle going.’

Olivia has been eagerly documenting her Vegas work trip on social media, and the star hinted that series four of Getting Filthy Rich will be the ‘wildest’ yet.

Series two of The Price of Perfection hit screens earlier this year, with the most recent run shining the spotlight on the rising popularity of weight loss injections.

Olivia told Daily Mail that while weight loss jabs remain a controversial topic, she hopes that shining a ‘balanced’ light on them can be ‘thought-provoking’ for viewers.

She said: ‘We always try to take a really balanced view on things, we’re never trying to condemn anything, we’re never trying to promote, we’re trying to sit somewhere in the middle which is really hard to do, so I think for a lot of people it’s been thought-provoking.

‘Weight loss jabs can be life-changing for the right people. My mission would never be to condemn them, but with all drugs people need to be really intentional.

‘It was never my intention to put anyone off taking anything because it can be really helpful for them, but we’re just trying to give a cross-section of what the market and the industry looks like at the moment.’

She added: ‘I’ve always had a genuine curiosity around the subject, and found it really interesting. I think what’s interesting now is the rate at which it’s developing. I think it’s become so much more accessible.

‘I think science and medicine around cosmetics are so much more sophisticated now. It kind of evolved so rapidly which makes it a really interesting subject to investigate.

Despite the divisive nature of cosmetic surgery, Olivia, who has openly discussed the procedures she’s had in the past, said she’s never regretted going under the knife.

Olivia said: ‘[There’s] nothing I regret, but I think that obviously it makes you think twice about things you would have considered.

‘I’m getting to have this unique experience, where I’m getting to see inside the surgery, inside the theatre, completely getting a real look through the keyhole. It’s eye-opening for sure.’
