A young fan collapsed on stage at Katy Perry’s concert on Sunday.
Each night on her Lifetimes tour, the 40-year-old singer invites fans on stage to help her perform the 2011 single The One That Got Away.
But the excitement was too much for one young fan, named McKenna, who passed out as Perry prepared to start the song.
According to Billboard, the icon called McKenna and a pal down from the very top corner of Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan for the song.
When the youngster collapsed she was attended to by members of the Perry’s crew and venue medical staff as the songbird knelt down beside her.
After she was taken from the stage, Perry pulled the other three young fans into a group hug for a prayer, saying: ‘Dear God, we pray for McKenna, that she will come back fully and brighter and better than ever. Amen.’

She added: ‘It’s so much. Sometimes you’re so brave and you can get on stage, and it’s overwhelming. I understand that feeling.’
Later, she told the crowd: ‘McKenna’s doing great, by the way.’
Meanwhile, two weeks ago, Katy suffered a scare during her concert in San Francisco when the mechanical butterfly she was riding through the air suddenly dropped a few feet.
Katy quickly composed herself and resumed singing her song Roar, before declaring at the end of the track ‘Not today Satan’.
This comes after news Katy’s ex Orlando Bloom will not have to testify in her legal dispute over her $15 million property.
The 48-year-old actor recently announced his split from Katy, 40, and he will now not have to be deposed or take the stand in the upcoming trial, Us Weekly reports.
In 2020, Katy bought the property from Carl Westcott, before he tried to back out of the deal, arguing that he was under the influence of painkillers when he signed the paperwork.

He subsequently sued Bernie Gudvi, Katy’s business manager, claiming that the deal was not legally enforceable.
Katy’s legal team always maintained that the agreement was valid and she took legal ownership of the property in 2024.
However, Westcott has continued to pursue the issue and his legal team asked for permission to depose Bloom ahead of the trial, suggesting that he was relevant witness in the case.
But those claims have been dismissed by the court, which believes the actor’s insights could be obtained through a third party.
Katy and Orlando announced their break-up in July, having been engaged since 2019.
A statement read: ‘Due to the abundance of recent interest and conversation surrounding Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry’s relationship, representatives have confirmed that Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting.

‘For one thing, they each have an ex. So, duties are split in half. And long-distance relationships, while still hard, are possible for these two.’
