Samantha Armytage celebrated her 48th birthday in style on Wednesday.
The former Sunrise host was all smiles as she toasted to her special day with a glass of bubbly at Bistro C in Noosa, a popular dining spot with stunning ocean views.
In true birthday spirit, Samantha shared the joyful moment with her Instagram followers.
‘Happy birthday to me. I do love Bistro C. 48 will be fantastic, I’m sure you will all agree,’ she wrote alongside an image of a Champagne flute and a glass of beer.
In another image, the television veteran looked effortlessly chic in a simple white tank top that highlighted her sun-kissed glow.
She completed her look with oversized black sunglasses and a stylish straw sun hat.
Sam’s relaxed demeanor suggested she was fully embracing the next chapter of her life following her departure from Channel Seven.
Sam became the face of popular dating show Farmer Wants A Wife last year after first appearing as a guest host alongside former presenter Natalie Gruzlewski.

However, Sam shocked fans last month by announcing she is quitting Seven after 21 years and leaving FWAW in a huge career change.
Describing the departure as ‘sad and bittersweet’, she told The Daily Telegraph that she felt her time had come to an end and that she was excited about her future.
‘I’m big on instinct. I listen to my instinct. I know when the time comes. I am proud of the fact that I back myself enough to say: ‘I’ve done what I can do here’ and I move on,’ she said.
‘This is not the end. It’s just the end of this chapter.’
After shocking fans with the news, details then emerged of the new contract Sam is believed to have turned down.
A source alleged that Sam threw in the towel after two seasons as the host of FWAW because Seven wanted to cut her salary, according to Woman’s Day.

‘Sam wanted similar money to what Natalie Barr and Sonia Kruger are on,’ the insider told the publication.
‘Sam was still on breakfast TV money from an old contract and that’s just not what you get paid to host one reality show these days.
‘She was asking for what Sonia gets paid for three shows. It wasn’t going to happen. Seven just didn’t have the money.’
They went on to allege that Seven also refused to allow Sam more ‘creative control’ on the reality TV series.
After 21 years at Seven, which saw her salary get up to a reported $500,000 per year, Sam’s agents are said to be setting up meetings with Nine and Ten.
