Bone Thugs-n-Harmony artist Krayzie Bone said he remains fighting for his life in an update to fans on his progress amid his ongoing health crisis, which began less than two weeks ago when he began coughing up blood.
The 50-year-old performer, whose full name is Anthony Henderson, took to Instagram on Tuesday with a post in which he was pictured in a hospital bed hooked in with multiple tubes.
The Cleveland-born rapper said he ‘just fought for life … literally for 9 days straight.
‘And I only won the battle this time because I know Jehovah God was with every step of the way fighting for me.’
Tha Crossroads performer advised fans, ‘Never take life for granted enjoy it while have you have it!’

He showed his supporters gratitude for their well wishes, saying, ‘Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers trust me I needed every last one of them.’
Insiders told TMZ on September 25 that the rapper had to undergo a pair of surgeries, and had been placed in a coma, after doctors found a bleeding artery in his lungs.
The performer was ‘on a breathing machine and sedated’ on September 24, according to AllHipHop, as many friends and fans took to social media in prayer.
Sources told the outlet that Krayzie Bone sought medical attention after the distressing incident September 22.
Krayzie Bone is battling sarcoidosis, which the American Lung Association describes as ‘an inflammatory disease in which the immune system overreacts.’
It causes ‘causing groups of cells to form clusters of inflamed tissue called ‘granulomas’ in one or more organs of the body.’
Doctors gave the Grammy-winning artist a CT scan which revealed a leaking artery in his lungs, sources told the outlet.
His Bone Thugs-n-Harmony bandmate Bizzy Bone posted on Instagram Stories a graphic September 24 that read, ‘Pray 4 Kray,’ adding in a separate frame, ‘Can’t sleep. Sometimes you just gotta pray.’

Krayzie Bone stopped smoking ‘a few months ago,’ which indicated ‘something was awry,’ sources told the outlet.
Krayzie Bone is a two-time Grammy-winner: in 1996 for Best Rap Performance By A Duo Or Group for Tha Crossroads with Bone Thugs-n-Harmony; and in 2007 for Best Rap Performance By A Duo Or Group for Ridin with Chamillionaire.
Krayzie Bone told the outlet in August that he’s ‘been blessed to be’ involved in hip-hop amid the genre’s 50th anniversary celebrations.
‘To be here at the beginning, to watch and see every phase that it’s went through, I’m excited to see what the next 50 years is going to bring,’ he said.
Krayzie Bone said that ‘hip-hop is definitely here to stay as a music genre, but it’s still so young.’
Krayzie Bone said the wanted ‘to see Hip-Hop mature and be more kind and respectful to the artists that carry this genre.
He added: ‘I want to see a balance between artists and corporations. It’s still young, but it needs to mature a lot.
‘We need to realize and understand how to treat all legends like other genres of music.’

NBA legend LeBron in 2017 told reporters why he was such a fan of Bone Thugz N Harmony.
‘It gave us a sense of we can get out,’ James told Bally Sports. ‘You have people in your backyard who have an opportunity to get out of a situation and make it mainstream and make something out of your lives by telling their story or playing a sport – they gave us even more confidence.’
