Billionaire heiress Dorothy Wang has taken a swipe at Hamptons grocery store Round Swamp after she discovered a ‘racially inappropriate’ item in her food haul.

While taste-testing a selection of foods, the former Rich Kids of Beverly Hills and Bling Empire star revealed she’d purchased a bag of ‘Kung Pow’ chips.

‘I don’t feel like they are racially appropriate,’ she said in a TikTok video shared on Sunday.

‘Should I try this even though I feel like it’s cultural appropriation?’

When asked whether she usually eats tortilla chips, she added: ‘Tortilla chips and kung POW chips are not the same. Perhaps if they correctly named them “kung pao chips” then it would be the same as tortilla chips.

‘There is always room to be more culturally sensitive/accurate.’

Round Swamp is known for ultra-expensive prices, but most reviews deem those prices worth it for the quality of the produce

After taking a bite, Wang said: ‘Something doesn’t feel traditional about this. They’re definitely stale.’

Wang went on to continue eating the chicken salad dip, guacamole and beetroot chips, which were the highlights of her purchase.

Her criticism of the ‘kung pow’ chips attracted mixed responses from fans.

While some questioned whether the name is actually racially insensitive, others urged her to try other items on the menu.

‘Truth be told the chips and dips are NOT what’s worth getting there. Next trip get baked goods & fruit grown in their garden,’ one said.

‘You are sophisticated and eat in fine restaurants. Round Swanp is no match for your palate. You’ve eaten in the finest restaurants in the world,’ another wrote. 

‘The spelling is just the half of it. Why call them kung pow chips in the first place.’

‘The beetroot chips are so slept on. They are so good,’ another said. 

‘You’re so classy. I love genuine people.’ 

Others had a different perspective, asking:  ‘Racially insensitive? As you eat tortilla chips? Are those culturally insensitive to the Mexican community?’.

Another wrote: ‘Wish you would use your voice to support small businesses and not bring them down. 

‘They’re a farmstand with hard workers who didn’t have everything handed to them.’

But the 36-year-old reality star hit back, arguing she’d simply given her ‘honest opinion.’

‘Not all were bad,’ she said. ‘I did not ”bring them down” unfairly or kindly.’  

Wang spent $125 on the purchase, which included six items.
