Traitors presenter Claudia Winkleman has joined the Cotswolds set – and can be found in her very own ‘castle’ in the heart of celeb land.
Claudia, 53, quietly snapped up a historic manor house worth around £3 million some time ago and is now a part of the social set which includes film director and producer Guy Ritchie, the Beckhams and Jeremy Clarkson.
A friend says: ‘She and her husband have a long-term rental on a Cotswolds house.
‘I understand they moved in three years ago and love having a bolthole away from the capital for holidays and weekends.
On some levels it’s no surprise, as her handsome Danish film producer husband Kris Thykier has been close friends with country-living enthusiast Guy Ritchie for years, and they are thought to enjoy shooting parties at Ritchie’s Ashcombe Park estate.
Ritchie bought that place when he was married to Madonna – and Kris and Claudia were among the guests at Guy and Madge’s nuptials in Skibo castle in December 2000. Kris produced Madonna’s film W.E., about Wallis Simpson in 2011.
Claudia and Kris raised their three children – Jake, 22, Matilda, 19, and Arthur, 14 – in London, where they have a house near Marble Arch.Â
Claudia said in an interview: ‘I’m on telly sometimes, but only for two months in the year and the rest of the time, I zip around. For the rest of the year, I lick the children.

‘I follow them around and I’m a very annoying human being to them. They say: ‘Mum give us some space!’ And I say: ‘No!’. I’m awful. It comes from my own mum.’ (That’d be former tabloid newspaper editor Eve Pollard.)
Busy Claudia, said to be worth £9 million, will be on our screens weekly until December with Strictly Come Dancing, and from October 8 will also be seen on the BBC in The Celebrity Traitors, which features Alan Carr and Stephen Fry.
She recently left the talent agency YMU and is now looked after by Little Arrow, which has been founded by husband Kris and her former agent Holly Bott.
Kris, meanwhile, remains very active in the movie world and his latest film is the much-anticipated drama Is This Thing On? starring Bradley Cooper. It will premiere on October 10, at the New York Film Festival.
He previously produced Kick-Ass, Operation Mincemeat and Luther: The Fallen Sun.
