Sally Morgan has opened up on her dating life, three years after her husband John’s death.
The Psychic, 72, sadly lost her husband John, aged 74, when he died in September 2021 following a short battle with coronavirus.
Sally revealed she doesn’t want to be alone for the rest of her life on best magazine’s Suddenly Single podcast, but admitted she could ‘never replace the love of her life’.
She told hosts Tim Vincent and Siobhan Wykes: ‘We were married for 49 years… we were like one person. I talk to John all the time and I say: “I don’t think I can be alone for the rest of my life – no matter how long or short that may be.”
‘There is no way I am going to replace John. I have no intention of doing that. But it would be nice to have a man I imagine John looking at and laughing thinking: ‘How different to me is that!’

‘John died – and people are terrified (to date me). He was the love of my life, and he will always be the love of my life.’
She then shockingly revealed that one of the men at John’s funeral ‘asked her on a date’.
In her original announcement about John’s passing in 2021, the TV favourite posted a heartbreaking announcement on her social media which read: ‘On behalf of Sally Morgan and Family.
‘It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of John Morgan, after a short battle with Coronavirus.
‘Sally would like to thank the amazing NHS and the incredible Doctors and Nurses at East Surrey Hospital for their outstanding work, love and compassion throughout everything.
‘John was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather and will be missed greatly. We would like to thank you all for the love and support you have shared over the last few weeks. Sending Love & Light Sally Morgan Team x’
The former Celebrity Big Brother star had told how John – a former greengrocer who worked as her manager until 2014 – had been secretly battling an aggressive illness and was critically ill.
Sally wrote: ‘As you may have noticed my wonderful husband John has been absent from social media recently. Many of you have been asking if he is OK, so I wanted to be transparent and give you an update.
‘He has been rather unwell of late and is currently in hospital. He is receiving the best care from our wonderful NHS and I would like to personally thank everyone at East Surrey Hospital for their continued hard work, love and support. I feel truly blessed that John is in such great hands.

‘After much consideration and at John’s request my tour will be going ahead and continuing as normal.
‘The support I have been receiving both online and on the road has kept me buoyant and allowed me to keep going in such a tough time.’
‘I know I haven’t been as present on my lives the the last few weeks and I hope this goes some way to explaining that. I am still here and will jump online as much as possible but please bear with me while I navigate this.
‘Sending you all so much love. From Myself, John and the entire Morgan family.’
Sally later updated fans and said she had not been able to visit John in hospital for three weeks and that his family would be ‘feel so lucky’ if he made it home for Christmas.
John is survived by their two children, Rebecca and Fern.
Sally is best known for doing psychic readings on daytime TV shows like This Morning and was a Celebrity Big Brother 2018 finalist.
