Australians have praised Felix Cameron as an up and coming star after the young actor picked up two gongs at the 2024 TV Week Logie Awards on Sunday night.
The Boy Swallows Universe star, 15, won both Best Lead Actor in a Drama and the Graham Kennedy award for Most Popular New Talent on Aussie TV’s night of nights.
Felix took home his first ever Logie after soaring to global fame in Netflix’s hit series and appeared overwhelmed by his epic win.
Scooping the Most Popular New Talent award, an emotional Felix gave a tearful acceptance speech as he was cheered on by the audience.
After emotionally thanking his friends and family, Felix’s fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to praise the young actor as an exciting new talent.
‘Loved Boy Swallows Universe – Felix Cameron is going to have an amazing acting career ahead of him,’ wrote one person.
Another fan said, ‘Felix Cameron will win an Oscar mark my words. Bookmark this now.’
‘My highlight of the Logies is Felix Cameron winning two Logies, that is so incredible,’ wrote someone else, before continuing to gush.

After tearfully thanking his friends and family, Felix’s fans took to X (formerly Twitter ) to praise the young actor as an exciting new talent
‘I want to hug him, watch out world because this young man has a very bright future ahead of him. Two Logies at just 15 is huge and his speech just shows how humble and gracious he is. I am just so so proud of him and so happy for him.’

It comes as Cameron told Daily Mail Australia on the red carpet that he was surprised by how globally successful Boy Swallows Universe has become.
‘We all knew it was going to be quite special from the crew, the story and the script, but I don’t think we expected it to be, this,’ Felix gushed.
His co-star Lee Halley, who was nominated in the same category as Felix, also described being at the Logie Awards as a ‘pinch-me moment’.

It comes as Cameron told Daily Mail Australia on the red carpet that he was surprised by how globally successful Boy Swallows Universe has become. ‘I don’t think we expected it to be, this,’ Felix gushed. ‘We’re both just happy [the show is] doing so well and so many people around the world have connected to it and loved it,’ he added.
Boy Swallows Universe cleaned up at the Logies as Bryan Brown took home the Silver Logie for best supporting actor, Sophie Wilde won best supporting actress and the series as a whole also nabbed best miniseries.
Felix stars as lead character Eli in the seven-part Netflix series based on the popular novel by Trent Dalton about a Brisbane family torn apart by a drug lord.
The younger son in the Bell family, Eli must navigate the notorious Brisbane criminal underworld in order to save his mother from danger, while Lee stars as his older brother Gus.
