Kate Gosselin’s Ex Reacts to Claim She’s Dating an Old Link

Jon Gosselin made shock cheating claims against his ex-wife Kate Gosselin Wednesday, with his son Collin backing up his account.

The 48 year-old reality star hinted that the relationship between ex-wife Kate, 50, and her one-time bodyguard Steve Neild, 50, went from professional to romantic – effectively ending their marriage at the height of their reality TV fame.

Jon took to Instagram with a photo of Kate and Neild, and a link to a Page Six story about them currently dating, which he implied was more of a rekindled romance.

‘Guess who really ruined the marriage,’ Jon said. ‘Read for yourself.’

The Wyomissing, Pennsylvania-born reality star maintained that he was ignored at the time he made the claims, but they turned out to be accurate based off current events: ‘Maybe when I speak people will listen now!!!’

The Daily Mail has reached out to reps for Kate for comment on the story.

Jon and Kate’s son Collin, 21, backed up Jon’s account in a post on Instagram Stories Wednesday.

‘What really upsets me is that my mom had an affair with our bodyguard way back in 2009,’ he said, ‘and for years would share hotel rooms with him while we went on family vacations, while I was in a connected room!’

Collin added: ‘Now everyone thinks her being with him is some cute novel romance.

‘By the way my dad received death threats and got shunned by the public for years for “having an affair” and “leaving his kids.”‘

Collin later said via Instagram Stories that he wasn’t looking to stir the pot with his post, but rather set the record straight amid misconceptions from the public about the family dynamic. (Jon has denied claims that he had stepped out on the marriage.)

‘I’m not big on drama, and I’m very busy in college, at work, and running my business, so don’t think I feed on this,’ Collin. ‘However, I feel very strongly on the matter of cheating and then blaming someone else for your own actions.

‘Everyone says my dad and I are hung up on my mom. We are not. We have suffered the damage of a narcissist and cried together.

Collin concluded in saying, ‘So no we won’t just go and make TikTok’s and act reformed when we still feel pain from our past.’
