As the ballad The Girl I Love by Josh Hannan plays in the background, a banner reading ‘Who has days left to live’ scrolls across the screen.

‘One will not survive’ another banner reads before we see an ambulance hurtling down the road.

‘The music’s blaring, the dance floor is pumping, and the drinks are flowing under the hot Summer Bay sun. But this special celebration will soon be ruined by tragedy. Who won’t make it home?’ an official release about the heartbreaking story reads.
Home and Away stalwart Lynne McGranger recently hinted that she is considering a move away from the bay after an impressive 31-year stint.
In a candid interview with Stellar magazine in May, the actress opened up about her hopes for the future.

‘It’s something I’ve mulled over, and it has been in the back of my mind for the last year or two,’ Lynne said of leaving the show.
The actress suggested that while no official date has been set for her exit, the idea of leaving Summer Bay has been a significant consideration.
Currently, Lynne is immersing herself in a new venture, The Grandparents Club, which she describes as a delightful return to her theatrical roots.
‘Certainly, no date has been set [to leave], but what I love about working on The Grandparents Club and being involved in this wonderful celebration is that it’s taking me back to my roots,’ she shared.
