Reese Witherspoon was seen this week enjoying a spot of quality time with her son Tennessee, 11, while running errands in Los Angeles. 

The 48-year-old actress shares Tennessee with her ex-husband Jim Toth, 54, a former talent agent she split from last year.

She radiated summery style when she and her son visited the tony Brentwood Country Mart on Tuesday to pick up a box of baked goods.

Teaming a short-sleeved white shirt with matching trousers, she wrapped a baby blue sweater around her neck and accessorized with a handbag.

Her signature golden blonde hair cascaded freely over her shoulders, and she warded off the California rays with a set of sunglasses.

In addition to Tennessee, she also has two adult children – Ava, 24, and Deacon, 20 – with her first ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.

Reese’s latest sighting comes on the heels of claims that she is dating German private equity financier Olivier Haarmann, 56.

She and Olivier were spotted out in New York last week, and DailyMail.com exclusively reported they had been on multiple dates before. 

However an insider has remarked that Reese ‘is taking things slow when it comes to dating,’ adding that she is ‘friends’ with Olivier.

‘She enjoys it but doesn’t want it to be a big focus. She’s busy with work and her son. These are her biggest priorities,’ the source informed People.

Olivier is a founding partner of the private equity investment firm Searchlight Capital Partners and used to be a senior partner at the global investment firm KKR & Co.

He has two children with his ex-wife Mala Gaonkar, 54 who is now romantically involved with Talking Heads frontman David Byrne, 72.

Reese and Ryan got married in 1999 just three months after the release of their teen drama Cruel Intentions, which also starred Sarah Michelle Gellar and Selma Blair.

At the time of their wedding, Reese was already pregnant with Ava, and they welcomed Deacon in 2003 before divorcing in 2008.

In 2011 Reese went down the aisle with Jim Toth, who as an agent represented such A-list names as Scarlett Johansson and Matthew McConaughey.

 They announced their separation in March 2023, just two days before they would have celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary.

Insiders subsequently claimed that gossip had been circulating for months that the marriage was on the verge of collapse, via Page Six.

On April Fool’s Day it emerged that Reese had filed for divorce in Nashville, citing irreconcilable differences, according to TMZ.

At the time of their wedding, Reese was already pregnant with her and Ryan’s daughter Ava, who celebrated her 24th birthday late last year

Reese and Ryan are also the amicable co-parents of a 20-year-old son called Deacon, whom they are pictured with celebrating his high school graduation 

Reese and Jim’s lifestyles were said to have diverged, as her Hollywood renaissance went gangbusters and he preferred more relaxation, per People.

A source said Jim, who used to be at CAA but left in 2019 to work at the doomed streamer Quibi, was more ‘laid-back’ while Reese was ‘headstrong and focused.’

‘They’ve been spending less and less time together while she was working,’ said one insider, as another claimed: ‘She has her hand in a lot of pots; he prefers less frenzy.’

Reese has a formidable list of projects in the pipeline, not only as an actress but also a producer – a role she has thrown herself into with gusto.

Her upcoming releases include a third season of her hit HBO series Big Little Lies, as well as a third Legally Blonde movie.
