Dan + Shay’s Shay Mooney Expecting Fourth Child

Shay Mooney of the country duo Dan + Shay is expecting his fourth child with wife Hannah Billingsley.

On Monday, the happy couple unveiled the news on Instagram with a sweet video featuring their three sons: Asher, seven, Ames, four, and Abram, one.

The former Miss Arkansas, 33, showed off her positive pregnancy test as the entire family cuddled together in their living room.

The video was set to the tune of Elevation Worship and Maverick City Music’s song Million Little Miracles.

It began with just Hannah and Shay, 32, sitting on the couch before each son was brought into frame one by one.

Hannah captioned the pregnancy announcement post: ‘1, 2, 3, 4….’

The couple received an outpouring of love from their close friends, family and fans of Dan + Shay.

Shay and Hannah tied the knot back in 2017 during an outdoor ceremony in the couple’s home state of Arkansas.

It was later revealed that the couple had secretly married the year.

Hannah spoke about their ‘perfect’ wedding day to Brides in 2018 while recalling one of her and Shay’s very first dates.

‘On one of our first dates, Shay brought me up to a hill overlooking his family’s farm. We sat and talked about life and dreamed about our futures,’ she said.

‘We went back to the hilltop for our first look, where Shay patiently waited for me as my veil whipped in the wind. It was absolutely perfect.’ 

The couple had welcomed their son Asher, now seven, nine months before their 2017 nuptials.

A then-newborn Asher was carried down the aisle in a tuxedo during the intimate ceremony. 

Hannah became pregnant with their second child — son Ames — in summer 2019 and gave birth in February 2020.

‘Our family is ecstatic. Ames is absolutely perfect!’ the couple told PEOPLE at the time.

Shay gushed over their newborn in an Instagram post that same month that included photos from the delivery room.

He said he was ‘so proud’ to be a father to another baby boy. 

The couple welcomed their third child — son Abram — just a year and a half ago in January 2023.

They confirmed Asher’s arrival with an Instagram post on January 17, with Shay telling fans: ‘Grateful doesn’t begin to cover it’

Signed with Warner Music Nashville, the duo was founded in 2013 following Mooney’s stint as a solo artist and Smyer’s time with the group Bonaventure.

The singers have collaborated with the likes of Justin Bieber and Rascal Flatts in the past.

They’re also three-time Grammy-winners.

They took home the Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance in 2019, 2020 and 2021.

Dan + Shay’s hit single 10,000 Hours featuring Justin Bieber was a massive success and debuted at no. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2019.

The duo almost broke up after touring in 2021 due to fame fatigue and unresolved tensions between them.

But Dan + Shay stuck it out and released their most recent studio album, Bigger Houses, in September 2023.
