Pregnant Sophie Cachia’s Kids’ Hilarious Gender Reveal Reactions

Sophie Cachia has revealed the gender of her third child and shared her children’s hilarious reactions to finding out the big news.

The influencer, 33, confirmed she is expecting her third child earlier this week and has now given an insight into the moment she found out the baby’s gender. 

Sophie already shares two kids, Bobby, nine, and Florence, seven, with her AFL star ex-husband Jaryd Cachia, who she split from in late 2019. Her current relationship status is not known.

In a sweet announcement, Sophie took to Instagram on Friday to share a picture of the moment she and her two children found out the gender of her unborn baby.

She posted a photograph of a white frosted cake, which had been cut open to reveal the pink-coloured cake inside, confirming her third child will be a baby girl.

The hilarious picture also showed her son Bobby and daughter Florence’s very different reactions to the news as she gave a candid insight into the moment.

Florence could be seen grinning from ear-to-ear as she fist pumped the air in delight, while Bobby was seen wiping tears from his eyes.

Sophie was seen comforting Bobby as he appeared upset by the news, with many fans taking to the comments section to share their amusement over the picture.

One wrote: ‘Hahahaha best picture ever,’ while another said: ‘Bobby looks thrilled.’

A third commented: ‘Oh Bobbie, being sad in the background,’ and a fourth added: ‘Quite possibly the best image I have ever seen.’

Sophie later took to her Instagram Stories to reassure fans that Bobby had cheered up and revealed his hilarious words upon learning the news. 

She penned: ‘Thanks for the gorgeous messages. Yes, Bobby is OK… someone was going to be disappointed either way.

‘But he was laughing saying “noooo… another one dancing around the house singing JoJo Siwa”.’

Earlier in the day, Sophie revealed that she had done a gender reveal for the first time because Bobby and Florence were desperate to find out the news.

In her last two pregnancies, Sophie instead kept the gender of her babies as a surprise until she gave birth. 

She shared: ‘BOY or GIRL? I’ve never found out what my babies were, and had no intention to this time around, until Bobby & Floss demanded a gender reveal. So let’s do this babies…’

It is not known if Sophie is currently dating anyone but she was most recently linked with a basketball player, after her reported split from footballer Sophie Van De Heuvel.

On Wednesday, Sophie confirmed that she is expecting her third child in an adorable post, sharing a gallery of precious snaps with her two children.

She showed off her stomach in her leopard print pyjamas and Florence and Bobby sweetly rested their heads on her belly in the heartwarming announcement.

Sophie also shared pictures of herself sharing a pizza with her two kids, leading to some confusion among fans about whether it was a pregnancy announcement. 

But making things clear in a caption, Sophie simply wrote: ‘Mine,’ along with a love heart emoji and three children emojis as she hinted at her baby news. 

She sweetly added on her Instagram Stories: ‘Create the life you want.’ 

Her famous friends took to the comments section to gush over the exciting news as they shared their congratulations with the star.

Earlier this year, Sophie was rumoured to be dating an unnamed basketball player, according to a tip sent to Instagram watchdog Influencer Updates AU.

‘Sophie Cachia is dating a new athlete. Basketballer. Will be going public soon,’ the anonymous tipper claimed in March. 

Sophie has not gone public with any romance since her split from AFLW star Heuvel, 23, in January after one year of dating.

The pair first struck up a romance in December 2022, but unfollowed each other on Instagram in January 2024.

They chose to spend Christmas and New Year’s apart, with Sophie posting snaps of her celebrations with her ‘chosen family’, where Heuvel was notably absent.

The pair kept their romance relatively private during the course of their relationship and neither appear in photographs on each other’s feeds.

While the couple first began dating in December 2022, they weren’t spotted together until April the following year, when they were seen kissing on BeReal.

Sophie was previously engaged to Maddie Garrick for eight months, before they shocked by announcing their split in October 2022.

She also had an on/off relationship with Matildas star Alanna Kennedy after her split from Jarryd, but they went their separate ways in early 2020.

Sophie separated from her husband Jarryd back in 2019 and they now co-parent their two children.
