She penned in her caption as she shared one snap smiling and another crying: ‘This is me and this ➡️ is also me.
‘I don’t normally post things like this… But when I mentioned my ’emotional’ week on my stories, I had so many of you reach out to me saying how much you can relate. This week has been tough, I’ve really not coped well…
‘I’ve had a lot of work on, followed by a lot of sleepless nights (with carter not being 100%) that has then lead to him being really challenging. And there’s a lot of times that I’ve been able to cope with him and his behaviour, but this week… it just broke me.
‘Being a parent is the most rewarding job in the world, but also one of the hardest. It’s ok to have a cry, it’s ok to not cope, we’re human and all have limits… and being a working mum in today’s world is tough.
‘We’re meant to have it all together. We have to juggle full time parenting, with full time work, while we look after our health, and fit time in to train, while running a house, renovating it, and cooking and cleaning and giving your kids your time, your partner, your family, friends, and showing everyone on here how amazing your life is.
‘Well let’s be honest that’s impossible Isn’t it? Yet I still feel like this is today’s expectations?
‘Life is tough, and incredibly fast paced these days… so I just wanted you to know that I’m feeling what you’re feeling, overwhelmed, exhausted, pulled in all directions, emotional and that it’s ok to hit a wall and get to a place where you break down. It’s important to feel that and let it all out….
‘So just know you’re not alone… I’m with you… I feel you… and it’s ok to have those down days.’

In July 2023, Carter was rushed to hospital again after Lucy-Jo’s mothering instincts felt he was going to die in a terrifying health scare.
She rushed Carter to Ormskirk Hospital in Lancashire when he was 18-months-old due to his serious nut allergy.
Taking to Instagram to share the frightening ordeal, Lucy-Jo revealed Carter went into anaphylactic shock after eating a snack containing traces of nuts.
‘Carter was 18 months. He was in the trolley, eating snacks while I was getting tea with Sienna, and he suddenly looked at me and I knew something was severely wrong,’ Lucy Jo recalled.

‘He went grey, his mouth went blue and he started to go all limp. He was struggling to catch his breath. God did my heart sink, I literally grabbed him out of the trolley, abandoned the shopping and Sienna and I just ran to my car.
‘I strapped him in his car seat (which was awful because at this point he was going in and out of consciousness and his skin was going all mottled and I couldn’t hold him close as I had to drive to A&E.
‘It was 10 minutes but it felt like a lifetime, my poor Sienna was crying in the back asking me if he was going to die.’
Lucy-Jo revealed she carries Carter’s epi-pen, which contains medication block the progression of the allergic response in the body, everywhere and has to inform every restaurant of his nut allergy as well as reading the labels of every food product.
