Lewis Capaldi appeared overwhelmed as he issued an expletive filled reaction after a couple got engaged at his show at the London O2 on Thursday evening.
The hitmaker, 28, is currently touring the UK for the first time since he returned to the spotlight following his comeback show at Glastonbury in June.
And his third show in London night was made extra special after their was a proposal in the crowd.
As the crowd cheered and the camera found the couple in the audience, Lewis began: ‘Someone proposed or something.
‘Congratulations, I f*****g s**t myself. Wow, congratulations.’
Joking that the couple were staged he teased: ‘It’s all an act They’re paid actors. It was the whole thing, no I’m only joking.’

As the camera found the couple in the audience, Lewis began: ‘Someone proposed or something. ‘Congratulations, I f*****g s**t myself. Wow, congratulations’
He continued: ‘Congratulations, that’s f*****g amazing stuff. I hope you like the new version of that song, otherwise….’
The singer then went on to introduce his new song Something In The Heavens which was released on Thursday.
‘Right, everybody. what was I gonna say? Oh yeah, I released a new song this evening.
‘Yes. It’s a new song I’ve been teasing it, I’ve been teasing it gently over the last however many weeks and you know, it’s been a nice response, so we thought we’ll put it out, we’ll let people hear it.’
He joked: ‘I mean, I was gonna release it anyway if you didn’t like it. It’s the song that came out today.
‘ I’m still, as you can probably tell, I’m still getting used to talking in between songs and stuff. I’m working my way back up.
‘But yeah, this is my new song, it’s called Something in the Heavens. I hope you like it.’
It comes after Lewis was seen riding the tube on Wednesday ahead of his sold out show in London, despite his £7.5million fortune.

The Someone You Loved singer has boosted his fortune drastically over the years despite taking a career hiatus in 2023 amid his battle with Tourette’s Syndrome.
His accounts firm Face Like Thunder was valued at £4,311,366 in December 2024, his second business, Face Like Thunder Touring, had £400,000 sitting in the bank as of last year and he also owns a £3million home in London.
But, despite having multi-million-pound assets, Lewis has proved that he is choosing not to live a million-pound lifestyle as he was spotted at North Greenwich station ahead of his show.
Posing for an Instagram selfie alongside AllOnTheBoard’s Ian Redpath and Jeremy Chopra, Lewis looked happy as he smiled and put a thumbs up alongside the two authors.
