Joey Essex Eyes Luxury Pad in LA for Netflix’s Selling Sunset

He has starred on pretty much every reality show already.

And TV royalty Joey Essex has now landed a spot on Netflix’s hit real estate show Selling Sunset next season.

The former TOWIE star, 33, will be ticking another giant TV show off his list as he plans to star on the series when his Love Island journey comes to an end.

From Dancing On Ice, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here, Celebs Go Dating and Celebrity Ex on the Beach, Joey now wants to venture out to the US – following in the footsteps of his cousin Chloe Sims.

According to The Sun, Joey is eyeing up a luxury property in Los Angeles across the pond as he hopes it will expand his opportunities.

A source told the publication: ‘Joey might have a reputation as a bit of a dimwit but he’s not lacking in street smarts.

‘He has become a very rich man through property and savvy investments. His cousin Chloe Sims is now based in Los Angeles, and Joey was thinking about investing in a pad for himself, which is how the Selling Sunset gig came about.

‘On the next series viewers will see Joey tour a megabucks property as part of his hunt for a base across the pond. It also means he’s added another huge reality show to his list — his first for Netflix — which opens up a whole new world of opportunity.’

But while talks for his next big project are in the air, Joey is currently trying to ‘find a wife’ on the ITV dating show.

Love Island fans have branded Joey as ‘terrifying’ as they believe he is about to jump ship for the third time as six new girls prepare to enter Casa Amor on Monday night.

During Friday’s instalment of the ITV2 reality TV show, viewers saw Joey and Grace Jackson’s, 25, relationship hit the rocks as she discovered he had secretly kissed Jessy Potts, 25, on the terrace the night before.

The TOWIE star has now ended things with ex flame Grace after new bombshell Jessy chose to re-couple with him. 

Blonde beauty Jessy has said to the girls she is ‘not naive’ as she has seen Joey do ‘the same to Samantha that he’s now done to Grace’.

Fans took to X to say that the TV personality needs to ‘act his age’ as he keeps ‘repeating the disgraceful behaviour’. 

‘Joey is just terrifying i know he’s about to do the exact same thing to jessy once he meets the casa girls’

‘Grace and Joey were doing up honeymoon at the stay away villa and now it’s over when a new girl comes??’

Later in the show, Joey and Jessy were seen relaxing on the pool sun loungers, when Joey asked her: ‘Does it not make you feel uncomfortable that she is here’.

Jessy said: ‘No I’m just aware she’s not been the friendliest but I’m not uncomfortable but people have been talking that it’s the second time you’ve done this…’

Joey replied: ‘It’s very different me and you compared to Samantha and Grace’.

The girls headed out for cocktails in the evening and Jessy said she is ‘not convinced he [Joey] won’t do it again, I’m wary of it.’

While the girls were catching up, they received a text and were sent to the legendary Casa Amor.
