MasterChef Australia’s new host Poh Ling Yeow has shared her surprising takeaway order.
The celebrity cook, 50, admits she would rather have instant noodles than buy hot food from a store.
‘I honestly never get takeaway!’ she insisted in an interview with Woman’s Day this week.
‘If I’m desperado, it’s instant noodles or I call my Great Aunty Kim who lives around the corner from me.’
When it comes to her go-to room service order, Poh goes for a classic.
‘I get all the sides. Wedges with sour cream and sweet chilli sauce. Yes, I do! Then the salad and steamed veg. I know. Weird.’
It comes after the cool shared an incredible food hack to ensure tomatoes maintain their taste during humid weather.
Poh posted a video to Instagram of her adding smoked salt to her tomatoes to optimise their taste.

In the footage, Poh is seen sprinkling some tomato slices with the smoked salt before telling fans the dish will now taste extra yummy.
She explained in the comments section that her food secret ensures the salad staple maintains its taste, especially during Australia’s particularly hot summers.
‘The tomatoes are not happy this year. Too much rain and humidity, but I’ll take what I can get,’ she wrote next to the photos.
Adding smoked salt to tomato slices can enhance the flavour of the fruit by imbuing it with a distinctive smoky and savoury tang.

Poh stars as a judge in the upcoming 2024 season of MasterChef Australia, alongside Sofia Levin, Jean-Christophe Novell and returning judge Andy Allen.
Former judge Melissa Leong will not return to the program and the casting shakeup was announced in October, following the tragic passing of popular MasterChef Australia judge Jock Zonfrillo on April 30.
