But whilst Belly spends the sunnier months dissecting her feelings for the Fisher brothers in Cousins or embracing bohemianism in Paris, actress Lola Tung has been living it up in very different surroundings.
As the hotly anticipated final episode of The Summer I Turned Pretty aired on Wednesday night, fans of the show were left shocked by one unexpected sighting of its star Lola.
A TikToker shared a video of the American actress enjoying a recent night out at infamous London nightclub Infernos.
The short clip was uploaded with the caption ‘the fact i was not actually going to come into work,’ and has already notched up over 58k likes.
The video shows Lola, wearing tinted glasses and laughing on the dancefloor as TikToker Hannah declares she is ‘Team Conrad for life’.

The actress quickly clarifies ‘I can’t say anything’ as she desperately tries not to hint as to the outcome of the finale.
Fans went wild for the video after the Clapham nightclub’s Instagram account reposted it and quipped: ‘The summer Belly swapped the Fisher brothers for the finance bros at Infernos.’
Lola isn’t the only celeb fan of Infernos. Hollywood superstar Margot Robbie previously shared her love for the nightclub having lived in London in her 20s with a group of pals and now-husband Tom Ackerley.
Margot spent time living in South London in a shared four-bedroom home before moving to a more lavish pad in the US.
Speaking in an interview with Capital FM’s Sian Welby, she admitted she once inquired about renting out Infernos for a sit down dinner with friends on a birthday, but at the time they said no.
Infernos has been welcoming party-goers since the 1980s after it was converted from a recording studio to a nightclub.
It was also the setting for the famous club scene in The Inbetweeners Movie, where Will, Simon, Jay and Neil try to impress a group of girls with their dancing.

The red carpet screening sent fans into a further frenzy when it was announced at the event that there will be a The Summer I Turned Pretty movie.
A feature film written and directed by Jenny Han will conclude the story, which is based on her book trilogy about Belly (Lola) choosing between two brothers Conrad (Chris Briney) and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno).
Creator and writer Jenny said: ‘There is another big milestone left in Belly’s journey, and I thought only a movie could give it its proper due.
‘I’m so grateful to Prime Video for continuing to support my vision for this story and for making it possible to share this final chapter with the fans.’
Meanwhile fans have claimed the near ‘perfect’ final TV instalment left them sobbing.
Viewers have waited all series to find out which of the Fisher brothers Belly ultimately ends up with, after calling off her wedding to Jeremiah because she still has feelings for his brother and her ex-boyfriend Conrad.
Episode 11 – named At Last – revealed which of the siblings Belly’s heart really lies with – Conrad.

While most loved the fairytale ending to the show, some argued that they were disappointed that they didn’t get a wedding scene between Conrad and Belly.
