Lupita Nyong’o brought the sparkle to the world premiere of A Quiet Place: Day One, which was held at AMC Lincoln Square Theater in Manhattan on Wednesday.
The 41-year-old Oscar winner bared her shoulders in a black-sequin Prada catsuit beneath a matching mini-skirt featuring a train, clutch, and patent leather pumps selected by her longtime stylist Micaela Erlanger.
Lupita accessorized her dramatic look with De Beers diamond fringed earrings and statement rings.
Hairstylist Vernon François even added sequins to the faux bangs he fastened on Nyong’o’s natural pixie cut for a bit more volume.
Make-up artist Nick Barose gave the Mexican-born, Kenyan-raised beauty a smoky eye with defined brows, dewy complexion, and glossy pout.

Lupita portrays cat lady Sam in Michael Sarnoski’s $67M-budget apocalyptic horror prequel – finally hitting US/UK theaters this Friday – alongside Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff, Djimon Hounsou, and Eliane Umuhire.
‘We see the world when the [alien] creatures first arrive,’ Nyong’o – who prepared with a 10-day silent meditation retreat – described on Wednesday’s episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show.
‘I thought it was, like, really an innovative way to tell a story to make everyone quiet and to make sound, kind of like, the enemy. The stakes are so high with sound and it was really fun to get into this. It’s a different sort of story. We definitely are expanding what this universe can do with this story. I’m really looking forward to people seeing it.’
It is the third installment of John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place (2018) and A Quiet Place Part II (2020), which amassed a combined $638.4M at the global box office.
The 44-year-old Emmy nominee – who produced and co-created the story for the third film – wore a powder-blue suit as he posed with director Michael Sarnoski and actors Djimon Hounsou, Lupita, Joseph Quinn, and Alex Wolff.
The cast shared a hearty laugh while posing together on the red carpet after a week of heavy promotion.
The 30-year-old Englishman – who plays Eric – wore a white Tom Ford suit sans necktie, glossy black boots, and a Glashütte watch selected by stylist Fabio Immediato.
The Beninese-born 60-year-old – who plays Henri – looked dapper in a beige double-breasted suit, white button-up sans necktie, and brown Oxfords selected by stylist Cheryl Konteh.
