AFL star Bailey Smith is expanding his career with a shock new gig – and his new girlfriend Tammy Hembrow, may not be happy.
The Geelong midfielder, 24, is starring in a cheeky new TV ad for Barry, the low-carb alcoholic beverage brand co-founded by Collingwood stars Nick and Josh Daicos.
The advertisement, which launches Barry’s new Cherry Vanilla Cola just in time for the AFL finals, is a playful reboot of the notorious 2001 ‘Five Cougars, Thanks’ campaign for Cougar Bourbon.
Bailey takes on the role of the very attractive bartender, whose stunning appearance leaves an attractive female customer second-guessing her drink order.
‘The campaign is fun, a bit provocative and fits the Barry brand perfectly,’ Bailey said in a statement.
‘It’s all about humour, nostalgia and not taking life too seriously. We’ve been rapt with the reception we’ve had since launching exactly two years ago, to now be one of the fastest-growing brands in the ready-to-drink category in Australia.’

Carlton star Charlie Curnow, 28, also makes a cameo in the hilarious commercial, which is set to screen across Australia over the footy finals season.
Bailey’s new girlfriend Tammy Hembrow may not be thrilled with the new Barry ad, which sees him flirt with the attractive female customer who is completely smitten by him, resulting in her fumbling her order.
The playful flirtation on screen could be an awkward watch for the fitness influencer, who is still navigating her high-profile romance with the Geelong midfielder after weeks of dating rumours.
The pair are said to have cooled their romance one month after they went Instagram official.
The Geelong midfielder and the fitness influencer shared a tender moment from their Melbourne date night last month, with his hand resting on her leg as they dined at acclaimed restaurant Entrecôte in the inner suburb of Prahran.
The Friday night outing confirmed what weeks of speculation had already suggested: the romance between the pair is heating up.
Tammy looked striking in a pink dress from Australian label With Jéan.
Bailey shied away from the camera as the couple tucked into oysters, steak and a hearty serve of French fries.

The Melbourne date follows weeks of sightings that kept fans and media guessing.
Last month, the pair were spotted on the Gold Coast sharing kisses and walking arm-in-arm along the beach.
Their chemistry was evident, with the pair looking relaxed and unbothered by the cameras trailing them.
Tammy only split from husband Matt Zukowski in June.
Matt, 30, and Tammy got engaged in December 2023 after just three months of dating.
They tied the knot almost a year later, in November 2024, but split rumours began to circulate earlier this year and in June, the pair announced they were divorcing.
