West Coast Eagles AFL star Tom Barrass’s fiancée Nadia Rosa has shared a heart-wrenching family update on social media.
Nadia, the step-sister of the late legendary actor Heath Ledger, took to Instagram on Tuesday to reveal that the couple’s eldest son Billy, two, had suffered a broken leg.
‘Our brave boy Billy broke his right femur last week,’ she said.
‘He’s had surgery and will be in a pretty hectic cast for the next six weeks. We are absolutely heartbroken for him and it’s been a hell of a ride but he is handling it like a little champ.
‘Feeling very blessed to have all the amazing help and support from PCH (Perth Children’s Hospital), family and friends.’

Nadia also reached out to her followers for advice.
‘If anyone has experienced anything similar and has any recommendations for activities to help keep a very active boy busy for the next six weeks (while he is in a cast), I would love to hear them,’ she said.
‘Also any tips on making sleep time a little more comfortable for him.’

Nadia and West Coast Eagles player Tom welcomed their first child together, Billy, in October 2021.
His middle name, Tony, is a sweet nod to Tom’s late father, journalist Tony Barrass, who sadly passed away earlier that year.
The couple also welcomed their second son, Benson Edwards, in March 2023.

The pair announced their engagement in December and have been dating for over six years.
They made their first public appearance together at a West Coast’s club champion function back in October 2018.
Nadia is the daughter of Ines Ledger, the wife of Heath’s father Kim and is a content creator and stylist.
