The Sunrise host, 44, is flying to Melbourne to attend the AFL Grand Final over the weekend as Collingwood faces off against the Brisbane Lions.
Dressed in a grey jacket thrown over a white T-shirt, the breakfast show presenter looked incredibly suave as he slipped on black pants.
He finished off his look with a pair of well-worn white sneakers as he hid his eyes behind black sunglasses.
Matt packed well for the big game with a huge black duffle bag thrown over one shoulder and two garment bags, one of them from a Brent Wilson store.

Clasping his mobile in his other hand, the former Olympic runner slipped a pair of wireless earbuds in his ears so he could listen to some music during his flight.
It comes a few weeks after Matt revealed details of a secret health condition he has been battling for years.
The television anchor was speaking to a paramedic on Sunrise about how asthmatics can stay safe during thunderstorm season when he made the admission.
‘I’ve got sports-induced asthma, so when I exercise it gets worse. Especially in the cold. Go and get tested for that,’ he said.
‘That is a good warning for so many people,’ co-host Natalie Barr added.

Sports-induced asthma is a long-term problem some athletes have when they exercise, which makes it difficult to breathe.
Sufferers can stay active through proper care and the aid of an inhaler.
Matt rose to fame in 1998 as a marathon sprinter at the Commonwealth Games in Malaysia, and later competed at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney.
In June, Athletics star turned TV host Matt was crowned David Koch’s successor at Sunrise after a three-year plan to prepare him for the top job.
The official announcement was made during the breakfast show, four days before Koch, 67, filmed his final show.
