Married At First Sight’s Davina Rankin has lifted the lid on her mental health battle after splitting from husband Jaxon Manuel.
The former bikini model shocked fans in May last year when she and Jaxon announced their divorce after just one year of marriage.
Posting to Instagram on Sunday, the wellness entrepreneur shared a lengthy about how she coped with the breakdown of her marriage and has since finally found happiness once again.
‘The last few months have been filled with so much connection, love, travel, joy, opportunity, bliss & expansion,’ she wrote next to a video montage documenting her travels to locations like Fiji and Bali.
‘It wasn’t all too long ago that I honestly felt like my whole world was falling apart. I had no idea what I wanted to do career wise – I woke up every single morning with the worst anxiety of my life after the breakdown of my marriage,’ she admitted.

‘I had lost touch with my spirituality – I felt super lost, embarrassed, sad and basically like I was just failing – massively.’
The single mother-of-one said that things are now looking up, however, and reminded her fans that sometimes starting afresh can lead to a better life.
‘Sometimes what seems like rock bottom can honestly be the best thing that could ever happen to you. Sometimes things have to completely burn to the ground so you can start fresh, and create something even more spectacular,’ the podcaster wrote.

‘I can wholeheartedly say my life FEELS SO BEAUTIFUL. All the things that felt so hard before have worked themselves out in perfect alignment.’
Davina, who in January hit a year of celibacy, said it is ‘truly incredible what can happen when you pour all your energy into yourself for a while’.
‘When you give yourself the love you’ve always needed & when you show up for yourself in big ways. When you make boundaries, when you get clear on your vision, when you dedicate time for your self development, when you look after your body, when you eliminate distractions,’ she continued.

‘Sometimes the slower you go, that faster you arrive and that’s been this journey for me to a T.’
Davina concluded by telling her fans that she had ‘stopped pushing’ and had instead ‘started flowing and following her heart’.

Davina rose to fame on Married At First Sight in 2018, during which she married Ryan Gallagher and was involved in a cheating scandal with groom Dean Wells.
Shortly after the show she began dating Jaxon, and the couple welcomed their daughter Mila-Mae in November 2019.
They married in 2022 but announced they had split a year later in May 2023.
She issued a statement confirming the break-up ‘after fans noticed she had quietly unfollowed her husband on Instagram.
‘Relationships are hard,’ the reality star wrote. ‘Given the recent speculation, I feel like I need to confirm that Jax and I have separated.
‘I will at some point discuss this further, but my current focus is learning to navigate my new normal while providing a seamless and loving transition into co-parenting for our daughter.’
