80’s icon Kate Pierson has showcased her age-defying beauty as she took to Instagram to share a reunion snap with her followers.
The B-52’s star, 76, rose to fame in the late 70’s as she met up with the other members of what would become the B-52s in a restaurant in Athens, Georgia.
However, Kate has seemingly not aged a day as she shared a sweet reunion selfie of herself with 90’s pop icon Lisa Loeb, 56, Lyle Lovett, 66, and her pal Katie.
The singer looked incredible as she cut a glam figure in a purple velvet blazer and diamante encrusted glasses.
She styled her red locks in loose waves and kept makeup to a minimum to showcase her youthful looks.

Meanwhile, Lisa, who was responsible for the huge hit ‘Stay’ from the film Reality Bites, cut a stylish figure in a black off-the-shoulder mini dress.
The chic ensemble showed off Lisa’s slender figure and boasted puffed sleeves and a plunging neckline.
Kate who is unmistakable with her vibrant red hair colour, is best known for her band’s hits Love Shack, Rock Lobster and Wig to name but a few.
But she’s also worked with the likes of Iggy Pop on his early 90’s single Candy, The Ramones’ Chop Suey and R.E.M’ s stellar LP Out of Time.
Kate’s also released a solo album co-written with pop powerhouse Sia and had tracks produced by Jack White.
Her solo debut, Guitars and Microphones, was released in 2015 and allowed Kate to explore more personal subject matters than the eccentric themes of her group.
She told Spin: ‘I just wanted to be more real and emotional,’
‘The B-52s, you know, our songs are about volcanoes or lobsters.’
The B-52’s formed in the late 70s when Kate, Fred Schneider, Keith Strickland, Cindy Wilson and the late Ricky Wilson had a jamming session after a trip to a Chinese restaurant
The band’s name was inspired by a dream Keith had where the group were playing in a hotel and someone whispered the moniker, also the name of a wartime aircraft, in his ear
However, tragedy struck in the mid 80’s when the band’s guitarist Ricky, who was Cindy’s brother, died from AIDs aged 32
‘Cindy [Wilson] and I sing them like our lives depend on them. I feel very emotional when I’m singing ‘Rock Lobster,’ but I’ve wanted to sing more about my personal experience.’

Former drummer Keith then had to step up and switched his drums for a guitar as he become the band’s new guitarist.
It comes before Kate released her solo album Guitars and Microphones in 2015 and the album was co-written with pop powerhouse Sia
The band achieved lots of success with the release of their 1989 album Cosmic Thing and its mega hit Love Shack.
Cosmic thing reached the top five in the States, the top 10 in the UK, and number one in Australia and New Zealand.
They had a big number three UK hit in 1994 when they recorded the theme song for The Flintstones movie starring John Goodman.
Their final album Funplex was then released in 2008, 16 years after 1992’s Good Stuff.
The band toured sporadically afterwards, however, Keith retired from the road in 2012.
