Jana Hocking is finally spilling the beans on what really happened with rugby star Sam Burgess.
The sex columnist, who was photographed leaving a bar with Sam in 2021, revealed on her KIIS FM radio show Saucy Secrets that she had enjoyed ‘special cuddles’ with the footy-star-turned-coach, 36, after he accused her of writing a story about him.
‘I have slept with Sam Burgess – and it came about in the craziest way,’ she began.
The media personality went on to reveal that she had been at a bar in King’s Cross with her friends when she was approached by Sam, who had just been in court settling his divorce with his ex-wife Phoebe Hooke.
‘He was with his lawyer Bryan and he spotted me,’ she said.
Jana had recently written an article titled “Why I’ll never date football players again” about her former fling and rugby star Todd Carney.

However, the piece happened to come out around the same time Sam was going through the high-profile divorce ‘where his wife took him to town saying what a terrible guy he was,’ Jana said.
Things became heated when the former Rabbitohs star angrily accused Jana of falsely writing the article about him and her friends piped up in her defence.
The footy star immediately felt bad about the accusation and proceeded to buy the girls a tray of shots as an apology.
‘It just took off from there,’ Jana confessed.
However, what the pair didn’t know was that they were being photographed together while mingling in the bar.
‘We didn’t know we were being papped so then we of course left the bar together – because I’m not not gonna hook up with a 6 ft 3, dreamy giant.
‘The next morning he dropped me off at my apartment and then I got a call from a journalist saying, “we know you were at a bar with Sam Burgess last night”.’
Despite Jana denying the tryst, the photos were published by the Sunday Telegraph.

She added: ‘They didn’t get the worst pictures because we were all over each other in that bar but I was wearing joggers! Why was I wearing joggers?’
Sam is now happily married to Lucy Burgess.
The couple share a son, Robbie, together and are currently expecting their second child.
The pair wed in October 2024 during a lavish Italian wedding after two years of dating.
The British footballer was formerly married to influencer Phoebe Burgess for four years before they split in 2019.
The former couple share two children together – a son, Billy, and a daughter, Poppy.
