From Fertility Fears to Financial Freedom: How OnlyFans Changed My Life

An OnlyFans content creator has described her life with two vaginas, from ‘wanting to be normal’ as a teen to turning an extremely rare gynaecological condition into a lucrative career.

Speaking to Diana Vickers and sex columnist Alice Giddings on Metro’s Just Between Us podcast, ‘Annie’, 27, revealed doctors diagnosed her with uterus didelphys at 16 after a routine contraceptive coil appointment.

The teenager was initially devastated by uncertainty around her fertility, telling doctors she wanted to her condition removed.

But Annie now sees things differently after launching a career in adult content creation during lockdown.

She embraces what she calls her ‘unique selling point,’ building a subscription-based business that can generate up to £150,000 a month.

Uterus didelphys affects just 0.3% of women worldwide. Annie’s form of the condition means she has a completely duplicated reproductive system – two vaginas, two cervixes and two uteruses.

‘Externally, it looks the same as a normal vagina’, Annie told the podcast.

‘It’s when you open it up internally – it’s like split. There’s a wall that goes from the top of my uterus all the way to the bottom.

‘It’s like a fork in the road; that’s probably the best way I can describe it.

‘I didn’t speak about it for years and years. I first opened-up during a drunken party at university. I slept with a boy, and I told him because I was drunk.’

The adult content creator said the most damaging aspect of her diagnosis was being wrongly told she would never have children.

Annie has since learned that women with uterus didelphys are not infertile and can actually carry two babies simultaneously in separate wombs, though complications can sometimes arise during pregnancy.

‘It was a big thing at the age of 16, thinking to myself – I will probably never have kids’, Annie said.

‘It would have been a major relief back then, to know what I know now.

‘But as an adult with a career in the sex industry – I am not ready for children.

‘It just isn’t a good idea – I don’t disagree with anybody in the industry who has kids.

‘But personally though, I don’t want to have a child because of the backlash that they will receive. I don’t want to put a kid through that.’

Annie revealed that when she first started OnlyFans at 21, she didn’t want to use her condition for attention.

In fact, her plan was to abandon the platform all together after graduation, favouring a more traditional career in politics.

Annie added that while she 'loves her work', it can take an emotional toll that could ultimately prove unsustainable

Annie said: ‘I actually didn’t use my unique selling point in the beginning. I started introducing it afterwards because I wanted to keep it very private.

‘I thought I was going to be this faceless person when I started, because my plan was to deactivate it after graduation.

‘I wanted to go into politics. Hilarious that I thought that was possible, given that everything on the internet lasts forever.’

The influencer revealed her plan to retire by her mid-thirties. She said this is only possible because her condition has made her ‘go viral’.

Annie added that while she ‘loves her work’, it can take an emotional toll that could ultimately prove unsustainable.

‘Don’t get me wrong, I love my work – but I’d like to be retired by 35 or 36’, she said.

‘I am set to make £150,000 this month, which is one of the best months I have ever had.

‘I know that if men didn’t have that initial fascination with my condition – I probably wouldn’t be making as much as I am.

‘If I do a video talking about my two vaginas, it always goes viral – and the amount of money I get in is actually insane.

‘When I first started, I had to take a massive break because I didn’t want to do it anymore. I used to attach my worth to my content.

‘I was attaching a financial value of a video to myself. I was making more money when I was selling stuff for cheaper, but I couldn’t cope with that.

‘I thought people weren’t valuing me. That I wasn’t attractive enough. So, I took a step back. You need a thick skin to do this.

‘But then I realised, I don’t like being poor. That’s not fun. So, I thought, just take what you’re worth.

‘I had to do a lot of self-discovery, self-appreciation, self-love to be able to do what I do.’
