Mick Jagger seemed in high spirits as he shared a gallery of Instagram snaps from his recent trip to Italy on Wednesday.
The Rolling Stones icon, 80, cut a casual figure in a beige T-shirt and grey trousers as he spent some time exploring.
He kept comfortable in a pair of black trainers and draped a black jacket over his shoulders.
Jagger hid his long locks under a black baseball cap as he posed for photos in a cave and outside a castle.
He penned: ‘Enjoyed spending some time in Italy recently!’

It comes after Jagger said he can relate to the Taylor Swift drama over music copyright through his similar experience with the Rolling Stones’ business-savvy manager Allen Klein.
The Stones were forced to learn how to handle themselves financially after facing serious business problems with copyright and ownership rights.
The world-famous band still don’t own the rights to their catalog prior to 1971 – including their first international number one record Satisfaction, from 1965.
Jagger said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal: ‘The industry was so nascent, it didn’t have the support and the amount of people that are on tap to be able to advise you as they do now.
‘But you know, it still happens. I mean, look what happened to Taylor Swift! I don’t really know the ins and outs of it, but she obviously wasn’t happy.’
The Rolling Stones grew to wild levels of fame in the 1960s and hired music-business accountant Allen Klein to try and stabilize their finances.
Klein had worked with The Beatles, Sam Cooke, Phil Spector, the Kinks and more artists of the 60s and 70s.
He negotiated a new deal for the Rolling Stones with the Decca label and won them a million-pound advance payment for their next album.

After negotiating an end to their partnership, Klein managed to keep ownership of the Rolling Stones entire catalogue of music for the years in which he managed them – from 1965 to 1970.
In return the Stones received millions of dollars in royalties from their own music – but not as much as if they’d owned their music outright.
Jagger told the Rolling Stone in 1975: ‘It was for songwriting royalties that he owed Keith and me from 1965 onward,
‘I just wanted to get rid of him. He’s just living off us and what we did five, ten years ago, you know? It’s pretty pathetic.’
Today’s artists continue to struggle with the same industry battles over who owns what.
Jagger said he can relate his experiences in the industry to Taylor Swift who famously fought with Scooter Braun over executive rights to her music.
The brawl began when Braun bought Big Machine Records, the label Taylor was signed to, for over $300million and he received her entire catalogue of songs along with his purchase.

Battle: Taylor Swift famously had ownership-drama with her ex-management after Scooter Braun purchased Big Machine Records and bragged on Instagram about ‘buying Taylor Swift’
On the same day that the deal was announced, Taylor claimed that she had pleaded for years to win back her work but was only given an opportunity to sign back up to Big Machine Records and ‘earn’ back every album by producing another album.
Scott Borchetta, 61, founded Big Machine Records claimed the songstress had a shot earlier at buying her older work, which fell through when she made a deal with Universal Music Group. Swift’s lawyers denied she knew about the $300million sale and said she wasn’t given the opportunity to re-possess her music.
Scooter Braun, manager to Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande, faced backlash after posting a now-deleted Instagram post in which he bragged about ‘buying Taylor Swift’.
