The 47-year-old actress will join Daniel Craig, who will reprise his role as private investigator Benoit Blanc, in the Rian Johnson-directed feature.

Details about the character that the performer – who recently made a rare public appearance with her husband – is set to play are currently under wraps, per Deadline.

The original Knives Out feature, which also starred Craig, made its debut in 2019.

The movie featured the participation of an ensemble cast that included Chris Evans, Ana de Armas and LaKeith Stanfield, among numerous others.

The film proved to be a critical and commercial success, and Johnson was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for his work on the project.

A follow-up to the film was greenlit in 2020, and Netflix went on to buy the rights to two sequels for $450 million the following year.

The first of the sequels, entitled Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, premiered on the streaming service in 2022.

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery also featured the talents of an ensemble cast, which featured Dave Bautista, Kate Hudson and Edward Norton.

Like its predecessor, the film was a hit with critics, and it currently holds a rating of 91% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Johnson confirmed that he would return to direct the third film in the Knives Out series in September of 2022.
